Just booked the first week of my F&W stay!!!!! Oct 27th - Nov 3rd .... studio at AKV Jambo!!!! So excited!!!!

Still have my BB booked for Oct 20th - 27th at POP .... may use a couple of days depending on airfares!!!!

Janet have you decided where you'll be staying????? I know you've got a BB booked!!!! Pool at AK is great!!!! Just sayin .....

Now I just have to wait until April 3rd to book a few more days!!! Still thinking I'll do OKW to save a few points also love the boat to DTD!!!!

Hey guys. I am desperately wanting this next 65 days to fly by. We got a new assistant manager and supervisor about a month ago and I can't stand them. I almost walked out of my job yesterday. My friend who works opposite days has the same problem. She almost left on Friday. They are insufferable. I hear there are a bunch of transfers coming soon. Hoping I may be one of them.

My friend who works opposite days has the same problem. She almost left on Friday. They are insufferable. I hear there are a bunch of transfers coming soon. Hoping I may be one of them.

Is there anyone you can talk to about making sure you are one of the transfers?

It may be 166 days until we check into the BC, but we'll be in San Antonio in less than 48 hours!! I just have a mountain of laundry to get washed and put away, a bathroom to be made spotless, bags to pack, and two programs to write (one of which is already half way done) all while not spilling the beans about the trip. I think I'm going later to Wal Mart and buy me some new contacts, and The Hobbit on DVD for the DSs to watch on the drive there.

Kook: Have you changed already? Re: the budget junk. I hope you get good news when the 10 days has past. My hub's lab falls under the DoE. They were notified yesterday that the directors have put forth a proposal to reallocate funds from their current projects (which needs high-level DoE approval) to prevent any furloughs from happening. Supposed to take a couple months before they hear whether the funds can be moved around. As it sounds not as "doom and gloom" as originally rumored, the APs are going to be discussed soon.

MM: Wa-HOOOOOOO on those shirts! Excellent job. You're getting so close now.

Pas: on the 20+ lbs down. I'm with Jen, I don't know WHERE you're staying now and when.

insert Donald Duck style rant because all of the words I want to use are non-DIS appropriate.

So, I was checking the checking account because I was paranoid since "Disney never took the money out when I paid it online" and I was afraid I hadn't waited long enough and then made the payment on the phone with them and then they tried to take it out of my account (from the online payment) after they took it our with the payment I made over the phone and the account was negative. Well the money was back in my account, and it didn't show any signs of the payments having been made.

I called the bank and instead of calling me (or emailing) to make sure it wasn't a fraudulent charge (since we usually never have charges that big on our account) they just denied to charge and never let me know about it.

Hopefully the third time will be the charm on getting this trip paid off.

On a good note....
I was going to get new contacts before our trip, because I am on my last pair. Well my prescription is over a year old and I have to get a new one. They can't see me until Monday. Oh, but wait (this is the good part) I've been coming to them for so long, they are going to give me a trial pair to get me through until I can come in.

Good luck with all that mess! Craziness!! And good to hear about the contacts! I need to get some new ones too...but they don't usually carry my strength...especially in the eye that has an astigmatism as well. Ggrrr...

Disney is so wierd with their payment processing. I always notice that when I make a payment (using our debit card), Disney will put the charge into pending on our account right away for the amount paid, and then the next day it's not there anymore. They usually come back a few days later and take the money out. I don't get it.

Hi RC Friends,
The last few days have been crazy. I am still back reading, but in the meantime I'm trying to tie up tons of loose ends here.
We have a couple of trips coming, booking airfare,hotels, and Ugh...rental cars...travel planning isn't the easiest these days.

Add in that hub wanted me to book some on miles. Ok, happy to do that, but then I discovered somehow he had two accounts and was locked out of both of them. : So, he got the fun job of calling and getting it all straightened out. Back to the drawing board, start over...It's the story of my life, I tell ya.

Had to get the dining in, IPO is ready for tomorrow. Check.
I think I've got most of the stuff on my endless to do lists done..for the moment. I am taking a break and enjoying a special treat, a nice Hopmouth. It's a very nice quite hoppy local IPA.

Missout--Oh dear, you took quite a spill. Glad you are healing. This winter has to go. Sending you some beach weather! Hope you get good news on furlough.

Thank you. I am really lucky when it comes to my contacts. I don't have an astigmatism and I use the same exact contact for each eye, so I can get away with just buying one box at a time.

Sounds like you need a stiff drink as much as I do. Actually, I made the DH one as soon as he got home. He had a terrible day at work. He didn't get home until almost 8 and then he worked on stuff for at least another 2 hours. I took one of the orange pineapple juices I bought at school (it's my favorite one and I have only found it at my school) and added some Crown Royal Black to it for him.

Disney is so wierd with their payment processing. Well, I still have 1 1/2 labs to get done, but I did get through a mountain of laundry today. Our luggage arrived in Denton (which is the town we usually go to see movies in, so it's close). Maybe it'll get here before I have to leave for school, so we can use that luggage. I am going to try and go in early (like between 3 and 4 for a class that starts at 6) to talk to the professor and get a little more help. Then by this time tomorrow, we'll be nearly half way to San Antonio. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be one of the longest days EVER!!

I guess we should have known better. When we went to WDW this past June, we added a couple of days to our trip while we were there. We were supposed to have gone to Cocoa Beach, but the rain was supposed to continue. We figured we could do more at WDW in the rain than at Cocoa Beach. Everything else we paid for while at WDW came out of our checking account right away. When the charge for the extra night didn't, we thought, "woo hoo, we got pixie dust and didn't charge us." The money for the extra night didn't come out until several days later, after we were home, so probably at least four days.

Well today is looking to be a good one that is flying by. I have our last load of laundry in the dryer. As soon as it's done, I'm going to pack, which shouldn't take but a few minutes. Then I'll do some last minute cleaning of our room and bathroom before taking a shower. We I get out of the shower, I'll work on a lab for C#. On the way to school, I'll stop by Wal Mart to pick up the trial pair of contacts and get a couple of things. I'll grab something to eat on the way to school, and hopefully the time will fly. I am so ready to leave today. I wish I didn't have to go to school. Maybe I can leave early.

Pas: Have a good Saturday off, and I hope your Easter Bunny gets everything he needs, ours made a last minute run to Walmart yesterday! Kind of feel sorry for my DD6 though, she has a sensitivity to chocolate, and has had Nutella the past couple of breakfasts. Her bottom has flared up with eczema, and I told her she may not get to eat a lot of the chocolate eggs that the Easter Bunny leaves. Good thing I got some play doh eggs, and gumball ones too.

Ginny: It sounds like you are doing a lot of work to get ready for your trips...good job! Hopmouth eh???

Linda: I hope your taxes didn't turn out too shocking. I am right there with you. YUCK!!

Miss: Glad to hear your stitches came out ok, and you are feeling better. Poor thing....

Well, nothing too new to report over here. Was visiting with my parents this morning and my Mom made a comment that I am too "addicted" to vacation planning. What.... Of course I am but she didn't have to point it out like it was a bad thing!! Whatever, there are worse things to be addicted to.

They really don't travel anywhere, due to my father not wanting too, and my mother's bowel problems. Her problems are actually getting worse, and almost everytime she goes out there is a small accident. I really feel for her, and have been trying to talk her into Depends, at least it would help her a little bit if she can't make it to the washroom. And my dad well, I am worried there too. Apparently he has been losing copious amounts of money at the casino, and they are on a very fixed income. Not good. All my life he was so frugal and sooo good with money.

I did finally tell him I am concerned about it, and maybe he should go talk to someone about it. I really hope he does. My mom is a wreck over it.
