    Whoo Hooo! You two are going to have such an amazing time...sounds great. Good to know about the rates for that Honeymoon room! :thumbsup2

    Lately DH has been grumbling that May was supposed to be just for us....:guilty:, I may have to swing a little weekend trip in for just us too.

    I am happy, touring plans has our dates up on their site for free right now and so far we are going to all of the recommended parks! That makes me a happy girl! I am under 60 days now, but cannot do online check in as we Canadians are still not getting My Disney Experience on the website. Boo.:badpc:

    Hi to all! Have a great day!

    Marie-Thank you for posting the photo of our RC meet in Oct! I had such fun visiting with everyone! Please know your dh continues to be in my prayers. :flower3:

    Jen
    -Awww…Thanks for your sweet thoughts! :goodvibes

    Pas
    - Love the change!!:woohoo:

    And in the what’s new department—
    It is snowing, blowing snow, winds 25 mph, it looks like January out there. :scared1: I’m in for the day.

    On another subject, I don’t know if they were having a bad week, but I had the hardest time getting a couple of pretty basic questions answered by CR IPO. They didn’t seem very friendly at all, either in email or on the phone. I dunno, but it left me feeling like staying there might not be a good fit for us. Sunday I was kind of unhappy about this, and decided I’d rather change. I called, and went with 2 nights at the Wilderness Lodge.
    Monday morning, 7:15am, guess what popped in my email? A very nice, warm welcome from WL IPO! I didn’t have to do anything, they initiated contact on their own. It was a good decision. :yay:

    Hope everyone has a nice Tuesday! :wave:

    I'm popping in for a quick hello and :grouphug: to my RC pals.

    Miss all of you. Thanks for the support with not letting me think I'm too insane with my germy kiddo. I appreciate it more than you know! (Walk to school this morning was not pleasant in the slightest; I felt so bad I just sent the teacher an email to ask if Miss M was doing okay. :sad: :blush: I'm already ready for the weekend.)

    Janet--I hope this change sticks. I figure Kook is going to think I've lost (what's left...) of my mind. :rotfl: At least I'm going from one Kooktastic resort to the other. Maybe I'll get extra credit. :laughing:
    Your snowday ideas sound like fun! :cool1:

    Missout--I hope Miss M has a good day. :cutie: Sometimes that transition back after a few days off can be hard, huh? . :hug:

    I have a new Tickler! Jet Blue has not released their November flights yet but we found a deal for Jersey Week that we could not pass up. :cool1:

    Jeanette we missed you, like the change to WL:thumbsup2

    Snow and ice will winter ever end? :sad2:

    Have a good day and be safe.

    I came home from shopping yesterday and could not get to my house all roads were blocked, fire trucks and emergency vehicles everywhere. There was a gas explosion and fire on the next street over was so bad the tore it down last night. Luckily no one hurt the people got out safely.

    Hi ladies! I finally caught up again! Martina's art show was great...she had so much fun showing us all of her artwork. She went to a birthday party on Sat at a place called "Painting with a Twist" where she did a beautiful rendition of the Eiffel tower and a poodle. Her BFF kept saying that Martina made a Minnie Mouse poodle. It took me a while, but then I noticed that she used the technique they taught us in the drawing class we did on the Dream for Minnie's bow to make her poodle's bow. She slept over and of course had a blast.

    We saw Oz on Sunday in 3D and loved it. The 3D effects were great! It was a good family movie...enough action for the boys, but not so much that Martina was scared.

    Have a great day, everyone!!!

    Miss: HUgs to you, it is not easy. I would've emailed the teacher too! Hope she had a good day today.:hug:

    Janet: No worries, I miss a lot of things here too!:p When I saw how cheap airfare was for all five of us to fly down it made me think we should take the kiddos. Also, we were going to leave them with my parents, and at that time my mom was having her heart issues, and my dad has nosebleed issues. They are fine now, but at the time I thought if something ever happened to either of of them while they were looking after the kids, it would be terrible.:confused3

    Although I know we will have an amazing time, part of me is a little sad as i know DH and I do desperately need some time alone together. I will find a way to get us a weekend at Disney together. Now that we have AP's, it should be easier right???:scratchin

    Sheila: Scary about the explosion!! Thank goodness it was not near your house, and also that the people got out ok. Yay for booking flights!

    Pigletsmommy: We saw Oz too! I really liked it...I love Wizard of Oz, and I loved how they explained a lot of things! We only saw it in regular screen, but i was saying to DH I bet it would've been amazing in 3D.:goodvibes

    I am curious too!!;)

    Sheila, congrats on booking the POLY!! :woohoo: Did I count right... are you checking in on 11/3?? :yay: (and that was scary about the gas exposion, very lucky no one was hurt.)

    Piglets Mommy, :wave2: congrats again to Martina on the art show. :cool1: Sure her drawing looked great!:thumbsup2

    Jen, of yes, now I remember Jen! (when you put it down like that :rotfl2:) Think you will really enjoy having the kids along for the May trip..:) How about planning on a F&G long weekend next year? Perhaps early March (when prices are lower?)

    Miss :hug: we have all been in your shoes....did get a reply from the teacher?... Hopefully Miss M is getting back in the swing of school ...and yes, the weekend can't come too soon. After being gone last weekend, there is much to do at home to get caught up on...:). Limping along until Friday happy hour .... :drinking:

    :rotfl2: Well since the WL is Kook's first love...you should score some bonus points... :goodvibes

    Yes Janet You counted right checking in on Nov 3! We will be at the Poly from 11/3 to 11/8! I am so excited! Booked through a TA Shocked myself who was running a "Jersey Week" Special. All in all a savings of just shy of $600 on the room and tix. Disney does not usually offer anything that week so I had to grab this deal since we prefer going in November. Bob likes the idea of renting a Cabana for half a day! Anyone know if I can do tht or do I have to have the TA reserve the Cabana for me?

    Is there a list of upcoming trips?

    If I can get photobucket to cooperate will post a pic of the house it was close from my backyard I was scared windows blew out and my poor bella all alone at home but no damage other than burnt debis in the yard. Poor baby was so stressed she slept from 2 yesterday afternoon until 11pm last night.

    How old are the kids? Could you drop them at an activity center and at least have an evening just the two of you?

    Grats on the move. I just love the WL!! I could sit in that lobby all day.

    Hopefully y'all can get away just the two of you. I would love to do that with the DH, but I think I'll save it for our 20th anniversary and do something big, like Hawaii or England/Scotland.

    Well if they weren't up, I have a subscription and would have gotten the info for you. :goodvibes

    WOO HOO!! I love the WL!!

    :hug: I hope she had a good day at school today.

    That is scary!! I'm glad no one was hurt.

    It sounds like a great place to have a party.

    We all liked Oz as well. I loved the little porcelain girl.

    Poor Bella. Does she get scared in thunderstorms as well? My mom's furbabies climb in bed with her during thunderstorms and shake uncontrollably.

    Well tomorrow is the day ladies. I should have our tax return. Then when the DH gets home from work, we'll get on Priceline and try and get a hotel on the Riverwalk. In just a little over a week, I'll be walking the Riverwalk with my three men. :goodvibes I am going to have the biggest margarita they have on the menu.

    Hello All :wave:

    So I quit my job last Friday. Just quit. There's only so much a person can take, and I think everyone knows how unhappy I was. DH said it was okay, and I've been applying and interviewing, just waiting for the right offer.

    I haven't said anything on Facebook because there's no need for my MIL to find out that I'm not working. I've been busy though. Organizing, steam cleaned the carpets, lots of projects, laundry... all things I've put off too long!

    My friend is coming the 2nd week in April and staying at the WL. I'm excited to see the new rooms for myself!! I also have BCV booked for 4 nights in September. If a job comes thru quick, I'll have my birthday at YC, but for now.... I'm holding off.

    I'm glad I'll have more time to spend with my RC'ers now :cheer2: I miss you guys like crazy!!!

    You came to the right place to post about your epic change:grouphug:. That place didn't deserve you and you did the right thing. Does this mean you're going to apply at Central Casting?:hyper: Something bigger and better is just around the corner for you:goodvibes

    I really dislike teenagers. I didn't like them when I was one, and I like them even less now.

    Hurray!! I love the change sis. You guys deserve it. :thumbsup2

    Fantastic change!

    Love the new ticker!!!

    You can book the cabana yourself.

    I am happy for you Deena. You need a pleasant work environment. Too much stress is no good for your health. I am looking forward to meeting up in June!!!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Today has been the longest day ever. Worked till 5, then went straight to parent teacher night at Danimal's school. We are having trouble with another kid bothering him, and when he tells on the kid no one does anything so Danimal retaliates on his own. I do not approve of Danimal hitting the other kid but the school needs to step it. If someone was bothering me and getting away with it I know I would hit a breaking point. And we are talking about a class of special Ed kids classified as emotionally disturbed. It's been a long and exhausting night. Everyone points the finger. Every teacher said it wasn't in their class of course. So very frustrating. Tomorrow we go back to his developmental pediatrician. I have some videos to show her and hopefully this will get her to do something new for him. There's so much going on with him that it's hard to reign everything in and get him on track. Sorry to vent. Thanks for listening!
    Dani: I hope you get some answers at the Dr., and at that school. I wish I could help you, but we are going through things too with other kids and struggling with the best approach too. But with it being special education that makes it even tougher. Big hugs....hang in there.:hug:
