    :bday::cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREE!! :cake::bday:

I hope all goes well with the ENT.

:welcome: It's totally normal to make that many changes. There are just so many amazing resorts, I think it's abnormal to not have 2nd thoughts and change resorts. $2K more is a lot to upgrade to a Deluxe, but we're splurging on one this trip.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. We went to my sister's house and had lunch for Mother's Day and my brother's birthday. Clancy, the Irish Wolfhound almost sat in my lap, but then just sat beside me. Which was a good thing because I bet if he stood on just his hind legs, he would be taller than I am (and I'm 5'5"). I did get a lot of good snuggle time with Holly, the Beagle. She felt better, but still has staples.

Oh and I got this in the mail from Mickey.....

Happy Day-After Momma's Day to all of you wonderful ladies. :grouphug:

pixiedust: Happy Happy Day to Lovely Bree! :bday: pixiedust:

Hope you have a fabulous day!

    Sheila: I'm so sorry.

I'm so excited for you guys! :hyper: :lmao: about their reactions. Ah, kids. ::yes:: Yay for SWW and BOG! Looking forward to your reviews already.

Dani: Ugh. Sorry about the family drama. Hopefully your cousin will wake up and stop being a jerk to your grandma and the rest of you.

Candace: Love the new fur-baby! How's Lao Che coming along? Are they closer to being buddies yet? (That pic was HILARIOUS!) :lmao:

Did you get that cabana? Your split is looking LOVERLY!

    Higher prices? Eeeeep. That's a shame. :(

Janet: Ah, MAJOR brownie points for the kids! :worship:

Welcome! That sounds perfectly normal ... around here anyway! :goodvibes

    EDIT!

    Wookie: Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh for Party TICKETS!

    ~~-----------------------~~

Less than stellar day here yesterday. I won't bother blah-blahing about it... because today's a new day and it's sunny out. I was up at 3am looking at Disney stuff -- can't think of anything better to do when I can't sleep! Miss M's home from school (administration day) :goodvibes Gotta go get her hair cut... she's starting to give Cousin It a run for the money.

I've got a quick little change to report!!! Instead of ASMO in Sept, we are staying at the CR!!! (Garden wing, standard view) :dance3:

We just think the price is worth it (especially since we are splitting it) to be within walking distance to MK for the MNSSHP and then monorail to Epcot for food and wine!!!

Booked with AAA discount, but hoping for military discount to be renewed because if it is then our room will be half paid off with the deposit!! :goodvibes

MM: Sweeeeeet! You can give me the scoop on the GW then (if you don't CHANGE IT!). That's exactly why we booked it for our Oct. trip -- to be able to walk back from the party and to have easy transport over to F&W. :thumbsup2

Thanks ladies. :grouphug: About to go hang out with my girlie-girl after she gets that mane trimmed, all's good. :goodvibes

We had that same week of weather. What a letdown!

    Nice! :thumbsup2

    Hi Melissa!

Have a safe trip. Enjoy the bonding time :goodvibes:

    :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Happy Birthday Bree! for DH and DS.

CSR BC sounds great and saving 2k sounds even better! :thumbsup2

His mama taught him well :)

    Yay for party tix! :banana::banana::banana:

I did book a cabana, although after perusing the GF thread I'm not sure I'm gonna keep it. Seems it still may be too noisy by the Beach Pool. We'll see. I have my Poly cabana day still booked so I may just keep the one. :confused3

Sorry for the bad day. Good thing you have a day to hang with Miss M and Disney planning to brighten your spirits! :)

Perfect RC! Crossing my fingers for the discount! ::yes::

    Love! :rotfl2:

    Congrats on the switch!!

I'm sorry yesterday was a rough day. Hopefully, you won't have another one this week.

    She has such pretty hair.

Thank y'all!! I can't wait for our MNSSHP night, even though it is our last night there.

I hope y'all can answer a question for me. Can you order a Lapu Lapu at 'Ohana? I really want to try one, but if I can't get it there I will get one before our ADR.

You sure can!! Dinner at Ohana was when I tried my first Lapu Lapu.

Pas130 - Happy birthday to Bree! I've got my "BIG" 3-0 coming up on Friday, yikes!

Hope all you ladies had a great Mother's Day and hope everyone is having a great day!

Oh yeah, so we are staying with the Poly. I'm actually looking more forward to the cruise portion, hehe, but also excited to be at WDW again!!

Oh yes, I definitely think the change will be worth it!!! It's so nice staying at a monorail resort and since you're going to MNSSHP, the walking distance between CR and MK will be more than worth it!!

Today's been pretty nifty so far. Now, I just hope it carries on into summer. :rolleyes1

Thanks! She makes me feel so ooooold. I have to go show her a pic of Cousin It. :faint:

    Here's the after...

The Tambu Lounge is connected to 'Ohana... so you can even get one "To Go" and take it out onto the beach if you wanted. :thumbsup2

I hope it does too, and in our house as well. Although I had some trouble with JM this morning. He's sneaking eating sweet stuff again due to not sleeping. The DH made me stop giving him the Melatonin because he didn't want him having it because he was worried about it. I'm putting him back on it tonight.

She is even more beautiful with her hair like that. All she needs is the yellow ball gown and she would make a great Belle.

Drinking one of those on the beach would be nice during the fireworks. Although with our dinner ADR being so late, we'll probably be seated during the MNSSHP fireworks.

OK a few questions before I ask on the MNSSHP thread.....
    1. Do they usually have the fireworks on MNSSHP at the same time they have Wishes (which would make it 9 PM)? I looked on last year's party map, but I didn't see the fireworks time listed on it.
    2. If we leave the MK right when they start making everyone leave at 7 PM because of MNSSHP, would we have time to make it to the Poly (either by monorail or ferry) by 7:50 PM (when we would need to check into 'Ohana in order to check in 15 minutes early)? If we'll be ok to leave at 7 PM, which way is better monorail or ferry? If we need to leave earlier, how early would you suggest us leaving?

I want to say they had a parade at 9 and 11 and the fireworks were at 10? But I could be wrong...I would think you should be ok leaving at 7 (or just slightly before). I'd probably take the monorail just because they seem to run more and can fit more people than the ferry.

oooo, if the fireworks aren't until around 10 PM, then maybe we'll have enough time to eat and then get onto the beach with a Lapu Lapu by firework time.

Wookie, EDITED Again! :) now I'm not sure what time the fireworks started the year we were there...:)..did a google search for you .. seems 2012 parades were at 8:15 pm and 10:30 pm...and HalloWishes were at 9:30 pm....so FWIW, that's what I found:)

The parade is fabulous... as you probably know, it starts with the headless horseman!! :yay:

You should have plenty of time to make a 8:05pm ADR at Ohana leaving at 7pm. Remember that a good portion of people will be staying on for the party.

Not sure on the transpo question - other ladies are sure to know. :)

Sorry, think I had a "senior" moment  (probably added you and got timed out...) you are on the list now!!

Thanks Janet & Wookie! :grouphug: The poor woman cutting her hair had to kneel on the ground (with Miss M standing the whole time) just to make sure it was even. :faint: Horrible mommy that I am, she hasn't had it trimmed since right before school started! It was getting a bit crunchy on the ends, to say the least.

I think you'll have enough time, if you leave at 7 or maybe a couple few minutes before if you see a rush of folks leaving. You can always take a gander at lines for the monorail vs. the ferry. Sometimes, getting the Express and walking from the TTC over to the Poly is quicker. (Actually both times we stayed at the Poly, we only rode the resort monorail twice.) The walk from the TTC to the Poly is only about 5 minutes and you can even take a lil' stroll through the grounds instead of walking around the front.
