    For some reason I have been having a very hard time falling asleep... I am only averaging like 4 hours of sleep a night... :sad2:

    Maybe I need to stop picturing Jordan as my cabana boy... :lmao:

    I say get the cabanna.........I'm like you, the heat and me don't go together. My people were from the cold, cloudy north countries...hence my white skin and freckles.
    I have family in Olympia and Albany and they have all been whining about the heat. I would be to if I wasn't used to it. Heck, I'm used to it and I still gripe and moan about it. I need to live somewhere that is 75 year round with low humidity. Is that too much to ask?

    :lmao: I have thoughts running through my head that shouldn't be there!

    I will behave and keep them to myself.

    winkers was laying in bed praying for the ambien to work. I thought about getting on the boards a few times but I knew that it would either make it harder to go to sleep or I'd do a little sleep posting.

    I reserved a cabana!!! Cost me 159.75, and you have to pay for it when you reserve it...

    I asked if I get to choose my Cabana boy, she chuckled a little and said they are not calling them cabanas boys, they are attendants... yeah, whatever... She asked what if I get a Cabana Girl??? I said, well, then I think my husband will be reserving a cabana for our entire trip... :rotfl:

    46 days until we leave!! :cool1:

    I am headed to the bank to pull out s wad of cash for my envelopes, then they will accompany the gift cards and MNSSHP tickets in the safe... I am excited to fill my envelopes...

    I have to make a list of things to do and when to do them...

    Anybody think it is too early to preorder the photopass cd??

    on the photopass pre-order.

    Don't you get 60 total days? Wouldn't leave much time after trip, if you purchase now.

    I know I have seen you and your DW around here on the boards and I was checking in on nu2wdisneyw PTR, that I believe your DW is Subbing on and nu2wdisneyw had mentioned some cool maps that you printed on the back of your tour plans, so I clicked the link over to the PTR....

    I thought it was your DW"s but either way it doesn't matter....

    I didn't actually see it here in your list of contents ( which I so envy I have to get that down before I do another PTR/TR) anyways sorry for rambeling away here, but I just had to post and say the picture of your DD then 7 months old held by Snow White is just the cutest picture I have ever seen! :cutie:

    if you know what maps I'm looking for, could you point me in the right direction? :confused3

    maybe you or DW could PM the info or a picture? LOVE IT! TIA


    I alwys like to see what other OCD planners like to make and do! :thumbsup2

    the 60 days starts when you get back and after you log in and upload your pictures to order, make something etc.

    make sense?

    I say never to early to order that way you won't forget and one more thing to check off the list....Ok I really must go feed my kids!

    The maps nu2wdisneyw was referring to are on page 29 post 434...

    We are definitely OCD... Me more than him, but he is getting there... I will have him trained yet... :rotfl:

    Okay, question for everyone...

    How much money do you take on vacation for souvenirs? I have all the tips and stuff separate...

    Last year we bought everyone we have ever known a gift... Boy did that get expensive...

    This year the only people we are buying gifts for is the niece of the friend we have watching our house... That is his payment, he doesn't want us to pay him, he wants a few things for him to give his niece... And Terry's aunt... SHe is a school teacher and we are going to pick up a few things of pencil and pens, maybe some cute paper for her desk... Other than that the only thing I know I have to buy is a 2009 magnet for the fridge and a 2009 shot glass for my ever growing collection...

    The kids have their own money too, so we don't need to buy them anything...

    SO, how much do you take??

    I wanted to make my DH read your PTR because he thinks I have gone nuts. I am just so glad to know there are other disney OCD planners out there. Thank you:worship:

    I have a few questions for you if you dont mind.
    1. How do you get your envelopes to look so nice. I downloaded some but it almost seems like I would have to cut it out and glue it on a plain envelope. Is that right?
    2. I have not been to WDW since 2003 so I was wondering how much do you normally tip for services like ME, Mousekeeping, etc. I am good with the Table service meals we do that on a frequent basis .

    Thanks for your help.

    Our trip is 9/20-9/26 staying at the All Star Sports!

    HI!! We would have been at the same resort if we would not have switched at the last minute... Take a look at our park days and see if we match up at all...

    Envelopes... We found them on the design boards... You just save them to your computer and print them on normal paper, then cut them out and fold, a little tape and done... Very easy and TONS of different designs...

    Tips... The standard for ME is the same as skycaps at the airport from what I understand.. 1 to 2 dollars per bag... Mousekeeping is a hot topic on the boards, some people tip and some do not... I do, and I do 5 dollars per day... I think the standard is 1 dollar per day per person... If I ask for anything above and beyond then I do more...

    Our first 2 trips we gave the kids $100 each....$25 per park.
    With our package this year we got 2 $200 gift cards..........so they each got $200. That was way, to much! Bailie had most of her's spent by the 2nd day.

    Hello! I've been marooned over on Twitter. I'm taking a class, and I spent 6 hrs yesterday trying to figure stuff out and get my homework done. I feel asleep in my chair and missed DISing.

    Really cool you got the cabana! I love the sun, but I think I would look for one for DH next time. You are going at a good time. Going in June, we got stormed out every afternoon, so wouldn't have used it.

    Now it looks like all of you are out on the town. Story of my life!:goodvibes

    So far the kids each have 200... But last year my parents gave them each 100... And my Mom said they were going to do that again... So I figure even if my Mom does half of that, they will be at 250 and if she does the full 100 then they will have 300... Plenty for 2 weeks... They normally buy themselves hoodies, so that will take a chucnk of it right there...

    I am here, but fighting Daddy for my laptop... I almost bought a new one today so we each have one, but decided not to spend the money right before vacation... So, here I sit at the desktop... Not nearly as comfortable as sitting ont he couch with my feet up... :headache:

    Nice Binder! I have something similar, but not nearly so ... "organized" ... :laughing:

    I heard good things about renting a cabana somewhere ... And I think a tip was to "stake out your space" in front of the cabana, too, cuz folks will move in on your territory and becomes a pain to get in and out, relax, etc. ... pirate:

    Ridemax looks "interesting" - but I started sweating just thinking about what you have planned for the MK!! :scared1: ... and I thought I had a "commando" day planned for the MK!! :rotfl:

    I checked the "crowd calendar" for you at the "Unofficial Guide" web site - mostly "4s" with a couple of "6s" - so you should be good that way for the length of your visit ...

    But I see four BIG problems with Ridemax that could mess up the schedule:

    (1) Where are the bathroom breaks!?! You know - with two kids and a DW - that you'll be hitting a restroom at least every hour, if not more frequently ... (and of course, they'll all never have to "go" at the same time ... !! :lmao: ) So don't forget to "highlight" all the restroom locations on your maps!! :rotfl2:

    (2) I don't think you've (or the program ...) has allowed you enough time to eat (not too mention digest before jumping onto BTMRR ...) :rolleyes1 And with the hot weather, you will want to relax during meals ...

    (3) And - as a corollary to #1 - Shopping!!

    (4) "Again!! I wanna do that again!!" - nuff said ... :upsidedow

    So be prepared to toss that schedule ... :rotfl2:

    ... and I don't know what happens once you get "off schedule" and if the wait times, etc. start to get messed up ... and it starts to "snowball" on you (in Florida???!!!? ... :laughing: ...)

    So if the program allows it, you may want to insert some "breaks" ("You can't go potty for another 10 minutes!! :lmao: ) and/or take out some "lower priority" rides and focus on the "biggies" ...

    All that being said, I just posted my "final draft" MK touring plan on my PTR ... so if you're all done with your planning ... and need to OCD about someone else's plans ... :rotfl2:
