Online Booking Down Again Today?

I cannot get in to the online booking tool. Sometimes i get a page that says "We are working on it" and sometimes I get a page saying "there seems to be an unresolved issue with your account please call member accounting".

I do not believe there are any problems with my account, is anyone else getting this error today?
 
i haven't tried that, but i'm having trouble with the fastpass site working. maybe its just a disney wide glitch?
 
I cannot believe how often this website is down but when it's at my 7 month mark it is really frustrating.

I've been trying as well and its extremely frustrating! System will not even acknowledge my current ressie!

Well that makes me feel better, at least I think that means there is not a problem with my account (or yours either).

So basically that means even their error messages are erroring! This would be funnier if I didn't need to book today.
 
down here too. just needed to add on some days. If online booking is down, does that usually mean MS will not be able to work on reservations if I call in?

I just spoke to Member Services. Of course my dates were not available but it was a 7 month booking so I can't expect success. However she seemed unaware that the website was down. She put me on hold and said she reported it to the proper people. I find it surprising that she didn't know it was down. Just to be clear, Member Services is able to book reservations it's just that my request had no availability.
 
I read the dvc magicband was released today and sold out quickly....maybe it crashed the system. Given that the website is so unstable most of the time, it doesn't take much.
 
I called Member Services and they said that it was a website issue. They are able to book reservations and waitlists so if you're ok sitting on the phone waiting for 30 minutes it might be worth it to call.
 
Was able to call in and adjust my reservation (15 minute hold time). Looks like the website is back up though.
 
They must be doing some extra maintenance runs or something early on Monday mornings. I've noticed that there has been a problem first thing Monday morning for at least the past three weeks. Doesn't three in a row make a pattern? :teeth: It's usually been back up in an hour or so.
 
I called over the weekend and was told Google Chrome is the preferred browser to use.....I have always used Internet Explorer but started getting error messages a week ago. Especially prevalent on the "My DVC" pages; I tried Google Chrome and all worked fine, but they said no plans to improve access via I.E.......
 
Browser has nothing to do with these issues.

There's probably some database maintenance from the weekend that's running beyond their weekly maintenance window. I work in the industry with a lot of data warehousing and I can tell you that it's not easy to fix that sort of issue. The IT staff is likely heavily constrained by management. More than anything, their reliance on Microsoft products is the Achilles heel of these systems. I'm sure some IT managers got some nice bennies for bringing in the business... Aka "Microsoft perks" (not available for resale after april 4th..hah)
