Once AAA rates are sold out for the resort you want, are they ever available again?

The AAA ressies for my resort are all sold out. If someone with the AAA discount cancels, does that room become available again with the AAA rate, or does it go back into the pool at rack rate? What are the odds that it will become available again? I am looking for AS Mo, for 10/7 arrival.

I don't believe so. I think that once they are sold out, that's it. I've never heard of them making them re-available if someone cancels.

Actually, we were able to get one at POR in May by calling back again and again. It was sold out of all rooms AAA and otherwise, so was POFQ. We booked Pop and kept calling back. At 2 weeks prior to arrival they finally had a room at POR and it was available with a AAA discount. So keep calling.
