OKW CHRISTMAS TREE EXCHANGE

Good morning families,

It is almost time for our annual tree exchange. I usually participate in the BLT and AKV thread but OKW needed a coordinator and a tree. So I am happy to do this.

I will be taking requests for those wishing to participate and I hope that I can accommodate everyone.

I will be down on Christmas Eve so I will use the tree 12/24-28.

Anyone wishing to use it prior to that date or into the New Year may do so. I will be in Disney until January 2.

PM me or reply to the this thread to get your name on the list to share in a tree.

Pick up the tree at Bell Services on the day of arrival after 11 am. There will be a envelope for donations in the tree box to help with shipping the tree to and from the resorts.

Please drop the tree off on the date of your departure at 11 am with Bell Services for the next family. Cross your name off the list on the outside of the tree box. Many families also add an ornament to the tree.

When dropping the tree off with Bell Services, please point out to the CM who the next family that will be picking up the tree. Also, get the name of the CM who you left the tree with.

Occasionally, a tree is misplaced by a CM. Please don't spend your vacation tracking down the tree. Allow Bell Services to look for you!

NOTE: THE DAY YOU PICK A TREE MAY NOT BE THE DAY YOU ARRIVE. THE DAY YOU DROP OFF A TREE MAY NOT BE THE DAY YOU CHECK OUT. This is to share the trees with the greatest number of families.

It's a small tabletop tree. Already comes lighted and decorated. You can add anything if you wish. Runs on 3AA batteries. Will supply. Will put instructions in box. Runs on a timer or manual.

Hello, Harlemgirl! We, too, will be at OKW during Christmas week. Although I won't be needing to participate in the exchange this year, I just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU for blessing others with your thoughtful effort. We took my parents a couple of years back during this timeframe, and it was such a cute surprise and special time to decorate the little tree and see the twinkling lights each evening of our stay!

The world has good in it--we just don't ever hear about it!

Theresa thank you for your kind words. I just hope no one changes their plans with this AP and TIW increase. I may have to rethink going for the holidays next year.

There is plenty of room but unfortunately I will be cancelling. Too many gaps and don't want tree to be misplaced. I am so sorry.

That's too bad. I wonder why interest has fallen off so much. It was a wonderful program.
