Who knew there were drivers out there worse than in Florida OK cheap shot seriously we all know that those European drivers are mad and it seems incredibly rude!!! This is a good message to all of us heading on one of the Med cruises next year to be really careful of crossing the road.

Hope you do feel OK Kevin and this hasn't ruined the whole of your trip.

Wow, so glad you are ok! Certainly not a story anyone wants to have happen to them.

I got hit by a bus once but I was, thankfully to some degree, in a car at the time. I can tell it in detail some other time but it had a happy ending at least.

There are no lingering issues as I truly was not hurt.

It scared the daylights out of me and made me very angry...but I think I was most angered by his attitude.

Other than that, we are having a fantastic time.

After our cruise ended yesterday (and trust me....we have a LOT of stuff to tell you about the NCL cruise ship), we spent the day in Barcelona with a private car and tour guide......lots to talk about there as well. Barcelona was a surprise....but the details will have to wait.

Last night we flew from Barcelona to Madrid and the from Madrid to Milan.

It's 8:15 here now and we're supposed to meet Matt for breakfast and then take the train to Lake Como. The bad news is that it's 50 degrees and raining like a son of a gun. Not sure the plans will stay the same.

Thanks again for worrying about me. Other than a slight head cold....We are both just fine.

As Michelle has pointed out.....I got a really good story out of this. How many people can say that they were hit by the one of Monaco's Royal Family's busses in front of the Casino?

Off to figure out what to do in Miln in rain.

It is amazing how safety is such a priority in the USA but in other countries the pedestrian is considered responsible for their own actions. I can't imagine a bus driver in the USA getting away with hitting a pedestrian. There would be procedures changed and laws put in place. Maybe extra safety devices mandated on all busses.

Westerners are fortunate to live in a pedestrian friendly environment. I've been lecturing my kids how important it is to be careful when crossing streets in China. The cars, buses, and bikes rule the road!
