I love the view! We ate at AKL and Kidani village a few times and last time at Saana. There you have a savanna view too by the windows. I love how the room is laid out and you even had your own wet bar. At CBR we just had a fridge. But that was a MOD. The bathrooms in the public areas are just beautiful. There are night vision goggles I hear you can use at one of the AK villages too.

I have been on the DIS and still read the BBB section. I just don't have any new reports. It's been a whole year since my Disney cruise:( I have also been going to school and graduate in the Spring so that's been taking up much of my free time. And my daughter Claire has been pretty ill. She had her gall bladder out in July.

That American Girl doll was an awesome find! I hope to get her one by the summer:)

Love the trip report so far!

Heck, I would have been mad too! That's valuable nap time you could have had!
Nice view! It's not everyday you have giraffes hanging around outside your window!:thumbsup2

BTW- Great Shot of your niece catching the food!

I think the "we'll text you when it's ready" nonsense is one of the things I hate most. One year we bought a US phone and they promised to text - NEVER happened and it seems to be the one thing that very rarely works. :confused3

That's a lovely studio you got there - I didn't even know you booked a studio!

And at least they made up some of the check-in flaws with an animal view. Not sure if this is considered a Savannah view.

I had used a friends DVC points, so I had a studio. But we really didn't need the kitchenette. It was nice though. The firdge is nice though at any resort.
Oh dear, Poor Claire. I hope she is doing better now. my sister had hers out in her late teens. She was so sick all the time and after she got it out she did much better. Claire is young to have that. I know they told my sister at her age she was young to have it out.

I was so excited about the AG price. The dolls almost never go on sale, and if they do, it's not anything big. They more often do a free shipping thing.

We made it all night, but I was pretty tired by the end. It would've been nicer to have had a catnap.
It's not every day I see giraffes out my window, cows yes, but not giraffes. :lmao:

Yes, we had a studio. I used a friends DVC points, which made it affordable for 1 night.
They never text me once at all 3 resorts, however my sister got her text right away. LOL
I think I was just lucky. I am sure this wasn't savannah view. As sometimes no animals were in the area and they changed out here and there. I sure wasn't complaining though.

Do any of you use photobucket? Lucky me found out today I am now forced to use the new version, which is just horrid. You have to take extra steps to actually copy a link for a picture. I will not stay with them if they don't mend this. Anyone know of any other easy to use photosharing sites?

Thanks. We enjoyed the room too.

    Thanks. I do too.

    Thanks Karin!!!!!!

I use photobucket. Do you have a pro account? Mine changed, I have pro, but it's still simple for me to copy pictures, just a click don't even have to highlight.

I do have a pro account. I never had to copy before though. Just click and it copied. But now to even see the links you have to hit the gear thing and then up comes choices and you have to view links, then click it, then x out that box. Such a pain.
And I uploaded a few and they are going to the bottom of the page and to see them you have to keep scrolling down and wait for the page to load more.
I am one who needs a few of steps as possible.

I use snapfish. Just right click and select Copy URL. Here is a shot from Halloween.

What a shame that you did not get a text. They always behave like it is the end of the world when I tell them that I don't have a US cellphone. Well, what's the point if they don't text you anyway. Well done on getting a room with a view though.

I spoke to soon. My photobucket just totally changed between the time I updated my Christmas TR and now. Wow. Completely different.

Ok, don't click the settings thing, but just move over it. Move over the Get media link and it will pop up without taking you out of any screens.

That picture totally cracks me up.

Yes, the yact like it's life or death that they have your number

Well there was a bug and they have now fixed it. So I am good till they make the complete change over. If they don't make it similar, then I am going with another place.

I think I am now caught up, Jen. I have to say the gift shop at the AK in Jambo is the best gift shop at any resort. I love it and could easily spend an hour or more there.

Happy New Year to you and your family.

Happy New Year Jen! It looks like you went to Nagoya? There is one in PC too, just over the bridge. They are super yummy!

Did you ever check your message in your room? It's probably something totally stupid like a text that your room is ready. :rotfl2:

If I'm not on before then, good luck with Skip's surgery!

Yes we did. It was my first time there and we really liked it.

The message was just a welcome message. i had them at every resort this year. That was kind of new...for me at least.

Thanks. I am counting down the days. He is in so much pain right now, it can't come soon enough.

This is completely fantastic! I'm guessing you bought regular Vadar masks and then spray painted them to match? Cause that is awesome!:thumbsup2
