I'm thinking of making ressies at WCC for dinner after going to Epcot. I'm assuming there will be a bus to get us to the WL, but how difficult will it be to get back to As Sports after dinner?

We have a rental car, so I'm thinking it may be easier to go back to our resort after Epcot and drive to WL?

Thoughts? Thank you so much! What a great thread!

Save the time of going back to your resort and drive to EPCOT that day and then just drive directly to WL.

Hi everyone! We are about to head to the World and I am getting a little anxious about the busses. Here is our Itinerary. Could you help me get to where we are going? Thanks!

    1. Arrive to All Star Movies at 12:30. Check in then head to DTD for lunch. Go back to Movies then Dinner at 7:00 at Chef Mickey

    2. Movies to Magic Kingdom for 8:05 pre park opening Crystal Palace Breakfast. How early should we leave?

    3. Movies to Epcot.

    4. Movies to Hollywood Studios.

    5. Movies to O'hana for 6:35 dinner.

    6. Movies to Animal Kingdom. Back to room. then Movies to Beach Club for Cape May Cafe 5:00 ressie. Epcot back to Movies

    I appreciate any advice.

    1. Bus to DTD. For dinner, bus to MK, walk to CR.

    2. I'd say be at the bus stop by 7. Buses come a little less frequently that early.

    3. Bus

    4. Bus

    5. Bus to MK, monorail to Poly.

    6. It would really be easier to go from AK to Beach Club rather than go back to Movies first. To get from Movies to Beach Club using WDW transportation you'd have to take the bus to DHS, then either walk or take the boat to Beach Club. If you're going to go into Epcot after dinner, just take the bus back to Movies when you're done.

I agree with pretty much everything here. :). On #1 if you find yourself still at DTD come close to 6 ish, just get the bus directly to CR for your ChefMickey's ressie. I also agree with #6, going directly to BC from AK would be much easier.

Need to know how to get to the following resorts from Art of Animation and approx how much time to allow for travel to make my ADR's on time. For ex: most of my ressies are for 5pm.

    1. Grand Floridian
    2. Contemporary
    3. Polynesian

Newbie here...so any other tips are greatly appreciated!!

For all three take the bus to MK then get on the monorail, or for the Contemporary you can walk. I'd say give yourself an hour just in case you just miss a bus.

    Hi,

I will be staying at SSR hopefully in the Congress Park section. I will be going to a Yankees/Braves Spring training game on 2/24 at Wide World of Sports. I have found out the the buses only run from the All stars, CBR and Pop so I think I should walk to Downtown Disney and catch a bus to one of those resorts, but where do you catch the buses to Wide World from the resorts that offer WWS bus service??

Help if you can if not I will ask the resort when I arrive how to get there!

    Thank you
    ~Nannette

I would just take a cab. The buses at DTD, both to and from the resorts, are notoriously slow. It makes much more sense to take a cab to WWoS.

Pop would be the best option. The DTD bus goes to the 1st (front) load zone; the EWWS bus loads at the last one, closest to the lobby. The sign at the load zone just says "Bus Only," but there is usually an A-frame sign on the ground for EWWS. It is behind the DHS load zone.

You will need to allow plenty of time. The bus from DTD will probably stop at TL on the way to Pop, so it could take 45 minutes just on the bus. The Marketpace bus stop is currently closed for refurbishment, and may or may not reopen by 2/24, so you may need to also allow extra walk time to get to the PI bus stop (by Planet Hollywood.) The EWWS bus usually leaves Pop between :05 and :10 minutes after the hour and half-hour, and arrives at EWWS around :25 & :55 -- but it may be running off schedule and taking longer due to heavy traffic into EWWS for a Yankees game.

Taking all that into consideration, plus the normal time to get into a stadium, find your seat, get settled, I think 3 hours before game time might be a reasonable time to leave SSR.

At CBR, the EWWS bus only stops at the Custom House, which is a few minutes walk from Barbados, the last of 7 stops for the DTD bus. The bus from AS Sports to EWWS takes about the same time as the bus from Pop, but the ride from DTD to Sports is about 10 minutes longer than to Pop.

Yes, but still, it would be good to leave early, in case traffic backs up. Games involving one of the NY teams are among the most popular.

And keep in mind that if traffic is backed up, the taxi fare will be higher than normal due to wait time in traffic.

Have 7:40 PM on the first night of my trip at Flying Fish. Would it be smart for me to go through Epcot on the way back to All Stars or just take a taxi? I would probably just go through Epcot on the way there to get some park time in, so I wouldn't need Park Hopper to get back in.

After going to MNSSHP, thinking of sleeping in a bit, then heading to 'Ohana for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. I'm certain the fastest way would be taxi, but about how long to allow? And what's the approximate cost one way? After 'Ohana, we'll walk over to TTC and take monorail to Epcot for rest of the day.
