Just trying to do some very non-scientific research here

Can you post your number of on site stays followed by number of times you have been upgraded? I am thinking this only happens 5-10% of the time. No need to write where/when/type of upgrade

    I will start

Maybe I'm due? (that's a joke, by the way. I'd never go in expecting anything I didn't pay for.)

12 stays (well over 50 nights, probably over 60) since NYE 2008-2009, and 0 upgrades.

Well, maybe once we got a preferred-ish room at Pop when we paid for standard. But only because I begged to stay in the 60s, we had stayed in every other decade. :lmao: I don't think the room we were in was considered preferred.

Although I fantasize about them overbooking and "needing" to move us to the Poly, in reality, I am perfectly content staying where I pay for.

Keep in mind....some upgrades are Fantasmic, and some are just minor. For example, 2 of my upgrades were HUGE and two were just "eh," bit upgrades nonetheless.

So far... 304 stays (approx.), 22 were upgraded (tallied on here)
    About 7%

Did not include the downgrades. That stinks...

Out of that 7% I would say a majority of them are for 1 or 2 night stays. I've had CMs tell me that is your greatest chance. Both times we were upgraded they were 1 night stays.
