I just booked a last minute trip to Disneyland from the 25th to the 29h, my actual days in the park itself will be the 26th, 27th and 28th. This trip will just be me. I'm leaving a job of 15 years and starting a new one at the end of the month and couldn't think of a better way to celebrate.

I managed to snag a room at the Howard Johnson, not far from the park but I think it's going to be rather busy as everything else was booked.

Excited, the crowds do not bother me. Happiest when I am there.

DCA was packed today. Took advantage of EMH and still had 50 minute wait for RSR. Went straight to FP line but didn't get one. Gone by about 930 am. They even extended park hours and added 2nd WOC.

They will make an announcement throughout the park notifying visitors of these changes...jc
added ... sometime if I remember correctly, you will see a sign at the entrance to the parks with this information.

Many announcements were made during day at DCA but never heard it mentioned at DL park. While in our room, I called front desk to ask if DL park hours were also extended but they didn't even know DCA hours had been extended. I was surprised at the lack of communication to resorts and guests.

We will be there Oct. 27-Oct. 31st, but might spend one of those days at SD Zoo. We were just there in June for the CL grand opening...is this too soon?
