Making an overnight trip to surprise DS for his 18th birthday, October 9-10. I just purchased tickets for the Halloween party on the 9th! Really excited to experience the event for the first time. I will be staying at the SpringHill Suites in Irvine, to be close to DS's campus.

Any of y'all know what's going in the weekend of 25-28 October? It looks like every Disney and Good Neighbor hotel is completely booked up. Closest I can find is 6+ miles away.

My family and I will be at both parks tomorrow and sunday. We are staying at the Hyatt tomorrow night. We will return on Wednesday the 10 to, again both parks, to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. We are signing up for the deluxe AP tomorrow at the Gate.

Any tips on if I should order online vs at the gate? On the Disneyland.com Chat the Rep told me I would have to wait in the same line either way to get my pass to enter the park.

I wanted the Kids Suite but it was sold out. I had points on my Hyatt Gold Pass Members account and all I could get was 2 queens regular. Originally I was planning on going to knotts (I have an annual pass) on Saturday morning and hang out at the hotel in the evening (Knotts Scary Farm at night) and going to Disneyland on Sunday. Then my I was told by my wife that I could get into Disneyland on Saturday if I bought my pass on Saturday (even though it was a block out date). So now we are to spend almost all of our time at Disneyland and less time at the hotel. I am taking the shuttle from the hotel to the park on Saturday so I will let you know how that goes. It's $4 round trip per an adult, kids under 12 are free. Parking is $17 for self parking, $22 for valet. I'll take pictures.

Hi! We had so much fun yesterday and we got to see and do so much even though it was crazy busy! We were there from rope drop until 11 pm. Can't wait to get back over there today!

Stayed 2nd thru 7th all at Disneyland Hotel!

Did In room celebration, A tour and Fantasmic Dessert seating!

Only complaint was there were a lot of ride breakdowns... ugggg....
