Looking at planning a trip for Me, DW, DS, DS in October or December of 2010. We are looking at taking both sets of grandparents. Which time frame would you recommend for the grandparents? I think that AKL would work great for us, the grandkids and grandparents are big animal lovers.

Which sort of special decorations, activities do you think you/they would prefer? October is great for Food and Wine as well as the Halloween parties. December has the Osborne lights in DHS, the Candlelight Processional and the Holidays around the World at Epcot and the Christmas Parties at the MK. The MK is also very nicely decorated with a Harvest Theme. They have wonderful pumpkin/gourd displays.

We're the DGP of the family, and we like them all!!! I also love AKV and seeing the animals, so either way, I think you'll have a great vacation.

PS. I've never had GREAT swimming weather in December, but have in October if that's a concern.
