November/December 2012?

Yes, and we have no inclination to go anywhere else!

I'm still coming to terms with these big numbers:
- +10 years (Were they all DVC?)
First visit to WDW in 1994, been DVC members since 1999.

- 65 ADR's (Top 5 please!)
Cape May Cafe for breakfast and dinner, Captain's Grille for breakfast, Trails End for dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern and all the rest!

- 3am Main Street clock (Have I missed a Disney reference here or is just because of EMH???)
The EMH hours at MK we like are 23rd and 28th December, open until 3am

- 24 times through Mickey's Philharmagic (How long has that taken you?)
That was last trip, the year before was 23.

Wow! Thanks for the ADR recommendations. We haven't done Trails End yet so I'll be sure to add it to our list. Good luck with making it to 24 on Mickey's Philharmagic.

Fort Wilderness area is so unique and it is a place most people do not visit when going to WDW. We normally catch the boat across from MK. At Christmas the decorations at the RV and campsites is a unbelievable.

The Sleigh ride at night takes you on a half hour ride around some of the best sites.

Trails End has very nice food and very reasonable cost.

We've been to FW for Hoop Dee Doo. We were hoping to do the Haunted Hayride with the Headless Horseman this year but it was cancelled. Hoping it returns next year.

Would like to see FW at Xmas time and take the Sleigh ride. There is so much to do at WDW that you just have to keep going back!

One week and we leave!
Have a wonderful trip

279 days does not take long!

We do the normal, Christmas day a late breakfast at Cape May Cafe, visit the Grand Floridian to smell the Gingerbread House then a boat across to Wilderness Lodge and the unlimited cookies, then Sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness with dinner at Trails End and then off to Magic Kingdom till late.

On NY day the Segway at Fort Wilderness.

Apart from that we have around 65 ADR, and have fun riding the buses, boats, train and Monorail and visit our regular servers and CM's some of whom we have known for ten years.

This year in EMH at MK we want a photo at the Main Street clock at 3 am.

Explore the new Fantasyland section and pass our record of 24 times through Mickey's Philharmagic!

And start planning for next year!

Your Christmas day sounds awesome must be so magical to experience :)

Colin, that does sound like fun.

So you spend every Christmas there, is it just the two of you? Do you have family here?

Don't answer if you think I am being too nosy!

We have only ever been to WDW over Christmas. If you choose the time you go to the parks it is easy to get on the rides, we mostly go to MK from maybe 6 or 8 pm and the atmosphere is great. If you stay at WDW long enough it is easy to fit in the attractions in a relaxed pace. One night we arrived at Mk at 10.45 and left at 1 am, in that time we went on 9 rides like Haunted Mansion and POC, probably more than you would fit in if you were there all day.

We first went to WDW in 1994, then 3 years later, then we have been every year since except for one. Just the two of us (we have no kids) but nearly every year have friends join us for part of the time. The first visit was 2.5 weeks, the trips have slowly grown to 5 weeks.

Business class upgrade to LA confirmed, a bit more room!

Congratulations ColinA. Looks like a fantastic travel and trip for you. :thumbsup2

If I don't catch you again, have a great trip.

Thanks PIO, after the amount of work we have had this year I might get time to catch up on the other trip reports including yours.

Traveling in style. Well done! Have a fabulous time. Hoping you might share some Xmas photos from FW.

We made it to the Boardwalk. Forgot to mention we went via Las Vegas for a concert in the Colosseum. Had a 6.45am flight via Dallas to Orlando. Got our room overlooking Crescent Lake, just over the Screendoor shop. Might post some photos after some sleep.

Great to hear Colin and that's great you got the room you wanted. Would love to see some photos if you have time :thumbsup2

Glad to see you've safely arrived. Thanks for checking in! Looking forward to the pics!

Day 4 is up on my TR. It was probably the least exciting day of the trip....but there is food porn.

Please do. I'm extra interested in the Boardwalk at present now that I'm booked to stay there next year.
