I woke up about 6:30 to use the bathroom, grabbed my phone and noticed a text from Tracey, they were boarding their plane and she said she couldn't wait to see me! There was NO way I was sleeping anymore now!!! I still wanted to pinch myself, this trip that we had dreamed up 9 months prior on New Years eve was finally happening! So much needed to line up for our family and theirs for this to happen and here we were, at PORS, waiting for our BFFs and our neices and nephew to join us! And we got play all week long with our kids....I was dreaming!!
I couldn't believe it, they landed early and were almost here! We quickly dried off and headed to the lobby to greet them! By the time we got there, they were already in line waiting to check in! It sometimes takes us awhile to get anywhere quick with 7,5 and 3 year old boys! 
You started, yeah! My kids would have been a mess that late at night, yours look like they handled it well in the pictures! Love Jet Blue, those TVs are so great!
Hoping you got to sleep in a wee bit the next morning!

Yes, I've started one (I put it in my siggy, if it works), but our trip is a looong time away...Sept. 2011! Probably the longest PTR ever! And I agree, the more kids, the merrier!! People always think we're out of our minds to have three...just wait until they find out we actually want another one!
I am absolutely amazed at the picture of your three sitting and watching the Disney movie when you were checking in. I think I have two pictures of all my kids together! And yours are well-behaved and it's late at night--so impressive!
You are a brave girl, thinking of going for 4? Truth be told, if my pregnancies weren't so tough and if it wasn't for the fact I know I'd have twin boys, I might think about it, too!!

Magical Express looks like such a great way to get to Disney. We will probably always rent a car so I don't know if we'll ever have a chance to try it. I really want to though.
POR. It really stinks that no one offered to help you to your room. I'm sure it was no fun trying to find your room in the dark with 3 tired kids.
The AB looks so nice. We were in the mansions section and although the outside is pretty I wasn't fond of the interior. It reminded me of my grandma's house.
It must be great to go to sleep and wake up in Disney!
Todd and I honeymooned on this side, too, so it was nice to be back. Awwww, tuckered out little boys.

I know, was kinda of bothered by that there was no offer to help, our 1st day I wasn't feeling the magic, but it got better!

So funny that Ally though the boys were triplets! So many people ask if Ethan and Lucas are twins (when they are sitting down, since there is like a foot difference in height!), I don't see it, but so many do! ps- noticed your are from Philly! What part? Todd grew up in Glenolden and I lived out there for 10 years. Love Philly!!

Trust me, it wasn't easy not running right to MK! I've NEVER done that before! 
But with Tracey and Adam coming so early, by the time we had lunch and needed to head to HDDR, there wasn't much time. It was actually kind of nice to be leisurely and relax some since we were up so late the night before, we thought if we push the kids, we'd pay all week long, you know? I'm hope you have some cool photo's of HDDR, I have never been and as you know we are going in Feb to see the show, I'm excited to hear what you have to say about it, and most importantly the food
Love the pictures of the boys at the pool, Kristen! I agree with a PP who said they weren't sure they could spend the time at the pool knowing they were sto close to the parks! I feel the same. In fact, I never could convince myself to relax at the pool during my trip!

I'm a bit biased though!! They are so much fun to share with you all!!Sounds like a first day I could never pull off--I'd never have the self-restraint to stay at the resort! Looks like yall started off great (huge cinnamon roll...YUM!) and I can't wait to hear about HDDR. We've never been and I have wondered whether or not my kids are ready for it yet. And I know exactly what you mean about never getting three kids anywhere quickly
You guys are cracking me up! You all feel exactly how I did, too! If it was just the 5 of us, trust me, we would have been on the parks! But with meeting Tracey and family, there is no way we could have done it. It was actually pretty nice to be low key that 1st morning, as we were all really tired.
are planning our first family vacation in Dec! Shelley actually already found you and subscribed and I stumbled on this today! I can totally see us doing a grand gathering in the future!! Your family is adorable!

So jealous you're going in December! That was the BEST time of year to go!! We went with Tracey and Adam (my trip report is below my siggie, if you're interested) in December of 2008, LOVED going that time of year and we stayed at POP that year, too! We just love POP, we have just outgrown in now that Cole is in a bed.

That is so disappointing that they didn't offer to call bell services to help you to your room, especially since it was dark and the room would be harder to find.
I know it was hard to hang at the resort that morning and not run off to a park, but after being up so late the night before, a relaxing day at the resort is probably exactly what the doctor ordered!
I remember when Todd & I honeymooned there, it was POURING when we came in, they offered to give us a ride in their golf cart and zoomed us to our room! Oh well...I have to agree with Kristen that December is one of the best times to go! I went over Thanksgiving in 2008, and I LOVED all the CHristmas stuff. If my DH wasn't such a stick in the mud, we would have participated in more!!
But I have never been to MNSSHP before, so I guess I can't really say.
