I quickly headed towards the Jungle Cruise and got out my Fastpass to bypass the line
However, there was no line so the CM directed me right in.
I had heard that this ride is a whole new experience at night and it definitely is!!
I never realized how much fun it is!
Its extremely dark on the water.
Fog and mist surround the boats.
Flashlights and spotlights highlight the visuals that the tour guide points out.
But you basically can't see anything else.
The cave with the monkeys is pitch black.
Its almost a spooky ride but its really cool.
I decided to enjoy this one and not take any pictures (I didnt think theyd come out anyway).
However, I definitely will be taking the kids back here next time at night.
Its worth the experience!!
I headed back through Adventureland and onto Frontierland via the pathway in Agrabah.
I was in search of some food as I headed back through Liberty Square.
I decided to grab some nuggets at Pinocchios Village Haus and then wanted to try Wishes! from the Fantasyland side.
I had heard that back here presents an interesting angle for the fireworks.
I got a spot right at the rope that was set up between the carousel and Snow Whites Scary Adventures.
I had decided to mostly just watch as opposed to take pictures as I was trying to eat and just wanted to relax and enjoy.
Too many times I watch the fireworks through the viewfinder rather than in the sky.
First off, the nuggets were horrible and I couldnt eat them.
I gave up and threw them out after trying two and then nibbling on some French fries.
The viewing location was interesting as you have to look up higher here and it can strain your neck.
Also, the white shots across the castle basically fly over your head.
The rest of the fireworks were great as usual and it was an interesting touch to have them shoot over the carousel.
The most interesting part was that a CM appeared next to me with a headset.
I heard an object bounce nearby and the CM promptly chased it down and radioed it in.
She was literally collecting empty shells.
It seemed as though she was counting them which makes sense I imagine they know exactly how many would fall in this area.
It was very odd.
I tried to talk to her a bit but she was obviously busy and ran off when some bouncing could be heard in the distance.
Never thought that it would actually be raining fireworks on you but if you find the right spot behind the castle, it will!
Wishes ended and the crowd began to clear but I was already on the move.
As soon as the rope was dropped that kept us in our viewing area, I walked right onto Snow Whites Scary Adventures.
I hadnt been on this in quite some time since its usually crowded and the kids have never been.
So I wanted to see just how scary it would be for the kids.
It started off innocently enough as Snow White is in the courtyard with the Evil Queen looking on.
And the Magic Mirror has some neat animation which I guess could be a little scary but still ok
It was after that when all bets are off.
An Enchanted Forest of dark trees which try to grab you,
An Evil Queen which turns into a witch as you round the bend,
And then she tries to drop a boulder on you!
Disney isnt kidding - these are some Scary Adventures and I would not recommend the ride to any small children.
I was also surprised at the short length of the ride.
I know most of the dark rides are short but Peter Pan and Pooh seem much longer than this one.
Maybe its just me.
Anyway, it was about 10:30 now, the park closed at 11 and my shuttle left soon after.
I figured I could still slip a couple of attractions in before closing.
Anyone up for a quick night cap?
