No Trips in 2015 turns into 3 Trips in 2015--Update 4/24/15 -- Page 31

First, we went to see my grandniece, Mia Rose, for the first time. It was also the first time I had seen/talked to my brother in four or five years. We've had some issues over the year. While we will never be "best friends" it is good to be talking to him again and getting along.

Kathy, I know you have had some issues these past few years, but it is so nice to hear that you and your brother have begun to once again talk to each other. I also know what it is like to have issues with family members and growing distant. With time we search our own hearts and realize while we may not always see eye to eye, deep down we still love them. I hope with time you and Chuck can continue to build this relationship as brother and sister.

And Mia Rose is a real cutie pie with those blue eyes!

I am here and finally caught up! I THINK Life is a little less busy for me......well after next weekend....ok After April 20th lol. So far your plans look great! So jealous of three trips!

Really nice to find out while working this weekend, I didn't miss a Kathy update.
Loved the DIS meet...a mall run...seeing your brother and great neice...a lot accomplished. I hope the rest of your weekend was great.

I'm glad to see you and your brother are getting along. For whatever issues you may have had, those are certainly some very big smiles.

And congratulations on your adorable grand niece. Something tells me you'll be seeing a lot more of your brother from now on.

I think it's wonderful that you were able to make it up with your brother, and I can see how excited you were to meet your grand-niece!
YAY for dinner with Danielle, Mom and Popadon! That's exciting!

Hey there remember me? The one who lost ALL my notifications on updates? Thankfully i was only 2 pages behind!!! YAY!
I love the new plans!! Bowling! can't wait to hear how you liked Splitsville.
Poor Mark has to miss out this time around really sweet of you guys to hold off to do the T word.. Not even going to try to spell it. OK maybe here Traffittita? LOL!
I have meetings today one back downtown! One of these days maybe we can meet for lunch again.

Mo, I am so far behind everywhere. Crazy work week and busy/gone all weekend. I say we just call it "Restaurant T"...it will be easier on all of us. Mark could go if he wanted to, but he would miss a week of baseball and with two weeks off in October, he doesn't want to push it at Target.

Know the feeling about being swamped at work Kathy- I've had that same kind of week! Glad I'm not behind on here then!

You are good here...that's for sure. I think it should be quieter the next four weeks. Although I really want to dig into my filing.

Happy belated birthday to Andy! Love the baseball pic of him- totally reminds me of Jared! And I'm guessing that's him with his grandpa in the Goofy hat- very sweet. My dad got my brother and I those same Goofy hats when we went as kids. Wish he'd been here to share trips with my boys growing up, but I know he was always there in spirit!

I miss those baseball days. I love watching him coach, but it's just not the same as when he was on the field. Yes, that is Andy on the left and Markie on the right. Dad only made the one trip and that was with Andy.

Sounds like something I can relate to.

It's hard to not get along with your siblings.

Yay for fun dismeets! Glad to see that they are in good spirits after that scare!

Popadon looked great; and we all had a great time laughing, talking about their recent trip, etc.

Thanks, Bob. Chuck and I have never really gotten along...we tolerated one another. Five years ago things got worse and I refused (or Mark refused) to let him come to our house for holidays, etc. We will NEVER be close, but it is good to know that we are talking and laughing with each other and getting along.

And Mia Rose is a real cutie pie with those blue eyes!

She is a cutie pie...but my, she is a butterball. :)

Page 11, but I found you!!

:yay::yay::yay: I'm glad you found me.

I am here and finally caught up! I THINK Life is a little less busy for me......well after next weekend....ok After April 20th lol. So far your plans look great! So jealous of three trips!

Hi there...we've missed you, and I'm glad you are cuaght up. I am very fortunate to have three trips.

Really nice to find out while working this weekend, I didn't miss a Kathy update.
Loved the DIS meet...a mall run...seeing your brother and great neice...a lot accomplished. I hope the rest of your weekend was great.

No...never did get around to that update (coming up after responses though). It was a great Saturday...we had a blast. I cleaned house all day yesterday and then was shredding documents. :headache:

I'm glad to see you and your brother are getting along. For whatever issues you may have had, those are certainly some very big smiles.

It was really good seeing him after five years. I'm going to try to arrange a get together with his kids and granddaughter and my kids and their significant others. I don't think I'll get Markie (Chuck never even responded to his wedding invite).

And congratulations on your adorable grand niece. Something tells me you'll be seeing a lot more of your brother from now on.

She is the sweetest butterball ever.

I think it's wonderful that you were able to make it up with your brother, and I can see how excited you were to meet your grand-niece!

We've been trying to get to see her since November and could just never work it out. I'm so glad we finally managed it.

YAY for dinner with Danielle, Mom and Popadon! That's exciting!

It was so good to see them again. What wonderful people!

Day 4 -- Wednesday, May 6

This is when we are NOW having breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. Trust me, there are changes to the plans I already told you about already. :rotfl2:

After breakfast, we will walk over here

The plan is to do

and

After we've done those attractions, we will head over to World Showcase and just enjoy F&G and snack at some of the booths until it is time for Todd and Nicki to leave. I believe she said they would leave between 2 and 3 to head back to Naples (they have to stop and pick up their adorable puppy on the way home).

Once they've left, I will be then meeting up with my girlfriend from work, Mary, who rented us our points for this trip (and our October trip) and we will spend Wednesday afternoon until our departure Sunday together.

Since I will have already been there for 3-1/2 days, I'm letting Mary pick what she wants to do at Epcot...rides or just roam around F&G and have a drink or two, etc.

We do have a dinner ADR here:

And this will definitely be my dessert this evening

I'm thinking that after dinner and since this is Mary's travel day, we may just head back to the resort after dinner and take a dip in the pool

Yes, it will be the quiet pool and NOT the clown pool. Although I'm sure we'll stop for an adult beverage on the way to the quiet pool.

Up next, Day 5 and a full day at the MK

Sounds like a great day! A relaxing night for Mary will probably be just what she needs before a full day at MK!

All great FP+ choices Kathy, especially obviously Soarin'. :)

I just love roaming World Showcase whether at F&W or not. I spend so little time in Future World anymore. Just put me in WS and let me loop and loop and loop and I'm a happy camper. Oh yes, and of course watch Voices of Liberty a gazillion times.

Adult beverage by the pool sounds like a great way to end a day to me. :drinking1

Sounds like a great day! I'm sure it will be sad to say goodbye to Nicki and Todd, but at least you have Mary coming to keep you company.

I keep wanting to try Coral Reef, but it never works out for us (Epcot is always a half-day park for us, so having an ADR doesn't make sense). I hope you guys enjoy!

A dip in the (clown-free) quiet pool sounds like a nice way to relax at the end of the day!

Sounds like it will be a fun day. Trattoria Al Forno looks interesting, but we enjoyed Kouzzina, so we were a little sad to see it gone, but hopefully they have replaced it with something good.

We loved the Boardwalk pool, for whatever reason the clown was fine for us, so hope you all have a very relaxing day there!

Sounds like a YUMMY day!

That clown pool terrifies me, but I know that if we stay there in October my kids will be all over that...

I'm glad to hear you and your brother are able to be civil with each other. My mother doesn't get along with her brother either, so I know how tense that can make things. Your grand niece is adorable! :lovestruc

Plans look good! The ever changing daily plans of a WDW trip; just part of the fun!

Adult beverages and swimming sound pretty awesome to me right now. Heck, they sound awesome to me all the time!:drinking1 You're doing right to take your dip in the non clown pool; that thing was too creepy in your TR.

Your plans for day 4 look great. I am glad you were able to meet you great niece and your brother. It's great t h at your brother and you are able to be civil with each other.
