Just starting my pre-trip report as we finally set a date.
A little background on me:
I first went to Disney during summer vacation in 1989 when I was 5. Ever since then I have had a love of all things Disney but especially Disney World. I went back twice more during childhood and twice a year during my teens, staying off site. (always a Marriott...my Mom worked for Marriott and now my sister does)
Last time we went to Disney, I was 3 months pregnant with our third baby...long after the first 2. We didn't know whether he was a girl or boy at this point. June 10th, we welcomed our third child and first little boy, Sebastian. (yes Sebastian, we call him Ian)

So I'll introduce the cast (I don't have a current pic of DH and myself lol)
Me (aka Mom or Kathy): I am our central planner and Disney expert. Overweight throughout my childhood and adulthood, I have been working hard on losing weight before Disney. Hoping to Disney bound and make most of my clothing for the trip. Ironically I am the Disney fanatic in the family but my sister now lives in Florida.
Chris: My husband of 12 years. 11 years older then me and is happy to go to Disney but only likes to go every 3 years or so. Although he has suggested we go 2 years after this trip but that means his brother and sister in law plus their three kids would go with us. That would drive me nuts and I don't like my sister in law.
Ellie: My oldest. She is going back to school next year (we homeschool) and is looking forward to going to Disney. She can't wait to ride Tower of Terror again.
Izzie: My 9 yr old. She will be 10 on this trip. She doesn't like thrill rides at all. She wants to drive a car on the speedway and keeps asking if she's too old for it.
Ironically neither girl likes Frozen...however....
Ian: My little guy will be 2 when we go...hence the dates. He is very tall and fascinated by the video of the 7 Dwarves ride....hopefully he will be tall enough. He is obsessed with Cars and Frozen.
and that little furry guy is Pippin, our apricot miniature poodle. Nope, he's not going as much as Izzie would like him to go. He likes to be outside all day, eat fresh chicken and sleep near his big brother. Pippin is 16 months old and is 6 months younger then Ian. He's a pretty awesome dog.
Tentative Date for our vacation is April 16 with a return date of April 24. We are driving to Disney. We considered flying but honestly, we like the road trip. It extends the anticipation.
EDIT: no one was going anywhere in this pic.
