New Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater menus

I happened to notice last night that the SciFi Dine-in Theater has gotten a menu overhaul.

The Picnic Burger is gone -- and no burger at all for dinner.

I actually think the menu has improved. There's a beef chili available now that I may order with the onion rings when we visit, instead of an entree.

Anyway, I hadn't seen a thread on this, so I thought I'd get one started. Apologies if I am rehashing old news.

I'm a little confused, actually.

If you access the SFDiT via the dining reservation lookup, you get a different menu than if you access SFDiT via navigating through the website menus.

Menus from dining reservation lookup:
Lunch http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...iDineIn/sci-fi-dine-in-theater-menu-lunch.pdf
Dinner http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...DineIn/sci-fi-dine-in-theater-menu-dinner.pdf
Dessert http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...ineIn/sci-fi-dine-in-theater-menu-dessert.pdf
Kids http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...FiDineIn/sci-fi-dine-in-theater-menu-kids.pdf

Menus from navigating through the website menus:
Lunch & Dinner http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...DineIn/sci-fi-dine-in-theater-menu-allday.pdf

Looks like they might not have updated one of the menus? The Dessert and Kids menu match the ones from dining reservations.

It sounds like you are looking at an outdated menu. Sci Fi no longer has separate menus for lunch and dinner. It is one menu all day. If you're getting separate lunch and dinner menus, then the site you are looking at has not been updated.

This is the current menu posted on Disney's site. It is dated March 2012 (small print at the bottom).

As you can see the Picnic Burger is on it, and there are several other burger selections.

The first set of menus linked above are old menus. If you scroll down to the small print at the bottom, they are dated March 2011. It looks as though Disney has updated the menus on one section of its website while failing to update them on another.

You can see how I get to the old menus by trying to book a reservation for Sci Fi and clicking the menu links on the page that comes up. It seems those are outdated menus, and now I wish that was the menu we'll be seeing in May. I'll probably end up with wings and onion rings then. :)

Sorry for the false alarm, and good point on the small print menu dates. Thanks.
