New Refurbishments

There are three new refurbishments showing on the Disneyland website:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Apr 11 - Apr 14
Disneyland Monorail - Apr 11 - May 19
Silly Symphony Swing - Apr 11 - Jun 09

New to the list:
Matterhorn Bobsled - Apr 18 - tbd
Grizzly River Run - Apr 18 - May 17

I am especially bummed about the Monorail :-(

Oh, that's so disappointing! We are going for first visit May 7- 14 and really wanted to do the Monorail! Ugh!!! Very sad...
I suppose there's no chance they'll finish early by a week or so...

That is a bummer about the monorail and my kids will be disappointed about the swings. Just praying that the dates for BTM don't change because we are coming in on 4/22 and thats one of our favorites!

How do you see these dates?

On the Disneyland website, go to their maps, then choose "attractions" under the "all activities" tab. A calendar is added so you can pick a date....the furthest out that you can pick today is April 14th. After picking the date, the map will show pointers for all of the attractions, blue for open, gray for closed. The monorail is gray on that day, and if you click on the pointer, it says "closed for refurbishment April 11 to May 19th".

As long as big thunder is open April 18-21st I don't care about the monorail lol. My kids love btr...

Bummer about the swings. But, I'm glad that the monorail will re-open during my visit, so I'll have a chance to ride it.

Thanks for the update as well as how to find the info. We plan to be there mid-April so the monorail is especially disappointing to us as well.

How can Jungle Cruise, Autopia, Thunder Mountain, Monorail and Railroad be all closed at the same time in mid April?

I am bummed about the Monorail too, but so glad that BTMRR will be open....that would be a killer having that closed as well as all the rest!

I guess they're trying to get everything all ready to go before the summer season starts.

Indiana Jones was closed this week, but it looks like it's opening back up tomorrow, so that's nice.

UNREAL! I am really not happy about this. How can so many things be down at once? We are traveling from the east coast and I'm really getting discouraged.
