New Jersey DVC's

I live in Linwood, NJ which is in Atlantic County about 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City. We are also very close to Smithville and go there all the time. I just love the Octoberfest and the shops are great. RLevy in EHT is also very close to me but she doesn't count as a new found DVC NJ friend because we have been best friends for the past 32 years so we see each other or talk on the phone together at least 3 times a week!

We're from Pennington, in Mercer County. Sounds like most of us can borrow a line from one of the Texas DVC members and say:

I'm not in NJ, but live about 1 mile away. We like to go to Cherry Hill Mall and Wildwood. Those trips will cost more soon since the tolls went from $2 to $3. I'm still getting over the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge going from a nickel to a dime.

BTW, since we have so many of you Jerseyites in one place, it may be a good opportunity for all to post some tips on the safe and proper procedures for operating a motor vehicle!

My Dw And I made the mistake of going to HH in 96 bought there then bwv in 98 oh no! Just returned From Disney world after a tour of WLV now I have an a appointment with my sales man in feb in HH. I just can't stop myself Oh by the way we are from Norwood in Bergen County

We're from Tuckerton in South Jersey, right on the borders of Ocean and Atlantic Counties. When I was a kid we would take the boat across the bay to Atlatic City. That was before the casinos of course. Now we have the BWV to take us on a trip down memory lane! I just wish they would add the Planters Peanut man. I know he probably wasn't around way back then but he is part of my AC past! By the way, a lot of you mentioned Smithville so I thought I would add that we had our wedding reception there at the Inn!

Hi thepoohbear, your right the planters peanut man would be a great addition, I remember him too. BWV has Lucy the elephant and she's not even in A.C., she's in margate. Hi there!! We are from Oakland, NJ. My parents bought into OKW in 1993 & sent us there for our honeymoon in 1994. We loved it so much that we bought at OKW in 1995 & added on Hilton Head on 1997. Thinking of buying more points, especially since we expanded our family this month by adding identical twin girls!! It is great to see so many NJ people into DVC!

Hey Pat,
We're a few miles from you in Mount Laurel, NJ. Approx 18 miles east of Philly. Haven't taken the DVC plunge yet but are hoping to come up with the necessary funds in the fall. Pluto, don't feel bad. Many New Jersians are transplanted New Yorkers. I'm from Manhattan and my husband was born and raised in the Bronx.
The fields of New Jersey are a far cry from the concrete and fire hydrant romps we took as kids.

We are from Hamilton. Bought in Jan 2000 for 99 use year. Added on before our first trip also at BWV before they sold out, same month though. After going for the first time in Dec as DVC and being able to take in-laws for there first trip to WDW Im only sorry I could not have bought sooner.
