I just checked Mousesavers.com and there is a new Disney Visa package listed. Looks like a real good deal if you are traveling with children! Check out mousesavers or Disney Visa website.

I read on another board that it will be available to any Visa card holder 10-8-03.

The package is a Dream Maker package and must be
booked for 4 nights. The special deal is for each
adult that purchases the package...one child is
included FREE!! Tickets and room etc are free!! It's
going to be an amazing deal, and one of the first
opportunities to book those discounted rooms.

For Disney Visa holders a special bonus of $100 Disney
dollars is also included for each package booked.
What a great bonus!!! (The $100 Disney Dollar bonus
will not be available to anyone but Disney Visa
holders who book the special Disney Visa package)

This package will be valid for Dream Maker packages
booked for stays between Jan 4-June 12, 2004. You
must book the package for a minimum of 4 nights and
The package must be booked by December 31st, 2003.

It is available on all Dream Maker packages- and with
Dream Maker Silver, gold, platinum and Prince or
    Princess add-ons.

If you are looking to travel by June 12 of 2004 and
you want to stay at a particular resort, or in a
particular room type, book now to get your choice of
discounted rooms. The AP discounts were so limited
last time they were released because of the other
discounted packages offered earlier in the year.

If you have a Disney Visa card, you can request a
quote for this package today...If you dont' have a
Disney Visa card, but do have another type of Visa it
will not be available to book until 10/08/03 or later.

I just called for a quote on this new package, and my existing room-only rate with the AAA discount and four 5-day PHP's is $200 cheaper! Is it really that much better to have the UPH's? We won't be going to Pleasure Island or Wide World of Sports, and we're only at WDW for 8 days. I also like that the hoppers never expire, just in case someone would get sick and not be able to use the ticket. I think I'll stick with my room-only and hope for some great codes as we get closer (we're going 4/24 - 5/2) unless someone convinces me otherwise...

Well you are getting five days of admission for your eight day vacation. With the other poster's seven night stay, he will get eight days of Unlimited Park Hopping. So he is getting three extra days per person for a total of 12 extra days of admission for the $200.00 you quote. So I think that is a much better deal. In addition, his pass has unlimited visits to the water parks while you probably have two plusses on the 5-day PHP. And his family will have unlimited access to Disney Quest which is not available with PHP.

I am excited for those with kids on this new package, I would even have considered taking our niece if it wasn't our first chance to go without the in- laws in years (we don't have kids). I am just wondering if this will affect the chances of AP discounts in January and even if they do have them, will they be very limited?

I haven't even priced this package for us because I don't think it's that great of a deal. Maybe I need to sit down and do some figuring. I only have one child that fits in that age range. So, I'm only saving the price of her park ticket, plus the $100. I have the Winter Dream Maker Package right now that is not the same thing as the Dream Maker. It is a bit cheaper. We have it so the package is cheaper than doing the room only for now. I think I'm going to leave it that way too. I want to see how much we'll use the UPH over the PH's. We never do pluses on them. Who knows.

We currently have ressies - Dolphin (standard room) 2/27-3/6.. Me, hubby and 2 kiddys (11 & 8). We're using AAA rate for hotel and AAA rate for 6 day hopper passes ($2,584 including tax). Even though we'll be there 9 days and 8 nights, we don't plan on going to the parks on the days we arrive and leave, and we have an all day cheer competition to attend on 2/29.

Called WDW reservations.. they won't give me a quote on VISA package w/out my card #, and it's at home. They quoted me the Dream Maker package w/out any discounts at $3142. Not sure the disc is going to be more than $550, but we'll see. Gonna call back tonight.

Okay, I'm confused. I currently have a reservation at the Dolphin for 5 nights, 3 adults 2 kids (7,4) @ $154 (goverment rate) per night + tax & resort fee total $908.55. I can get 4 day hopper passes at AAA for $197.80 adult $157.33 kids = $908.06, UPH (5night 6 day) $1377.07 or 5 day hoppers at TicketMania for $1108.38 or 5 day plus for $1204. I doubt that we will go to the water parks. We would probably go to Disney Quest (TicketMania $112).

    4 day hopper = $1816.61 + DQ = $1928.61

    5 day hopper = $2016.93 + DQ = $2128.93

    5 day hopper+=$2112.55 + DQ = $2224.55

    UPH 5n/6d =$2285.62

I was previously quoted DM package at the Dolphin for $3572.10. So the difference between the hotel ressie I have + UPH 5n/6d and the DM is the luggage tags, lanyards & pins and choice of one of the 4 features. Do these extra DM total up $1286.48? If I choose this VISA special would I just subtract the 2 kids UPH amounts ($239.63 ea)? They already stay free in hotel, right? It seems like I'm missing something. Am I?

I posted that we got the Pop Century for regular season rate with this package for 1536.60. We will then get back 100.00 at check in. I am a big cheapskate. I always book things separately because I hate paying for the little trinckets they throw into these packages.

I originally had the Pop Century AAA rate - standard view for the same nights at 653.00 total (tax included). I was going to buy 5 day hopper pluses (2 adult and 2 kids) from Ticketmania for a total of 944.00(tax and delivery included). My AAA here in Sougheast New England only sells 4 day hopper passes. Last time we went, I even tried to buy 5 day passes, from I think was the AAA in North Carolina, but they would not sell to me. So, in my neck of the woods there are only 4 day hoppers. I thought these prices were high enough, even though we would have to miss two days in the parks (one day when we get there and another day during the week - remember I only was going to have a 5 day pass to the parks).

I was actually going to use one of the pluses and maybe take the kids to the waterparks, so actually I would only miss one day doing anything. My 7 yr son wanted to go to DisneyQuest, but I figured we would skip it this time.

Total doing things separately for me was: $1597.00 (hotel and 5 +2 passes). If I has bought only the 5 day hoppers only it would have been $1523.00 (hotel +5 day passes).

This way, I get the unlimited hoppers, Disneyquest, and the $100.00 Disney dollars. So, for my family this works out great.

I feel pretty happy with this one. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Well, I just save $90.74! That's not alot, but hey its a character dinner. Also, got the $100 disney bucks. I had the Winter Dream Package. Staying at ASMo for 6 nights, me, DH, DD (6) and DD(2). So this is just the savings for one child. My bill went from $1302.60 to $1211.86. I'm thrilled. I saved almost $200! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
