I saw that Maxwell House had coffee pods when I was at the grocery store last night. I haven't had MH coffee in years. Think it's any good?

Darn...ok, thanks for the tip. We really should just throw them out then. One of the things I never liked about Senseo was the lack of variety...Keurig has coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. It seemed like Senseo never caught on enough to diversify their options. Oh well.

Double check, but I think the MH Coffee (pods) are actually the filter packs that make 4 cups each. If they are they won't work. You need single-serve size pods.

Are these coffee makers just in deluxe and moderate resorts? What about the value's? My wife loves her morning coffee and I love green tea. We are flying this time so it will be hard to bring our coffee maker.

Not in the Value Resorts. At least not yet.

I decided I'm taking Starbucks VIA Ready-Brew French Roast. I picked some up at the grocery recently. The little individual tubes are tiny, great for travel. I'll just heat the water using the Cuisinart, and pour in the coffee. I generally don't like instant coffee, but VIA is good. :cool1: I usually pick up a pint of milk at the resort and pop it in the frig. When I wake up it's nice to have milk for my coffee rather than the coffee mate stuff.
I'm too lazy to track down pods.

    Hi Twinkles and momtwoboys,

Three cheers for strong coffee! :thumbsup2 It's great that we can easily bring along VIA packets. Having a nice cup of coffee (or several ) in the morning is an important part of the vacation for us coffee drinkers. :woohoo:

OK, so the big question is what does the coffee taste like??? Is it as bad as what was in the regular coffee makers? I was all set to bring a pound of dunkin donuts ground with coffee filters! Dunkin doesn't have pods does it? I need good coffee! HELP!

and is it one pod per cup? So if we (2 of us) each drink a cup for 7 days that would be 14 pods? On Amazon I can only find 72 pods at a minimum! I would buy like 30, but not 70! Yikes

Just returned from AKL Jambo, Concierge Level and they had the new machines. However, we never used them since we took advantage of the beverages from Concierge. I did however "save" the pods to be used for our next trip in June at Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge villas--since they will most likely give us limited pods for those stays, since it is a DVC stay.

Disney must have gotten quite the bargin on the Cuisinart 2-Cups, they were on their way out with the popularity of Keurig's.

I have a Keurig and was looking for refills at Walmart. I could only initially find the Senseo. Senseo was in the food section and in one of our Walmarts in the pop and wine area. Keurig has been with the coffee makers in another area of the store. And Senseo, for all the Dunkin Donut fans makes a refillable, reusable pod.

Oh NOW you have me! If we can just buy do-it-yourself pods & fill it with my Dunkin, we'll be all set! I won't have to worry about carting my Keurig down and risk breaking it along the way!

Does anyone know if the pod coffee makers are in CBR yet?

    THANKS!

Thanks for the refillable pod info! Please share if you know where to find these. I saw them on Amazon but would like to avoid shipping.
