We are spending a week in June at AKV Jambo and I am trying to think of something new to do. DD is now 16 so can do the tours. Thinking of the Segway one but not sure. We did divequest twice and that may be a possibility. No ADRs yet and I don’t feel the itch to make them. Just eat as we go, I guess. Usually things are already set by now and I am not feeling it yet. Feeling a little burnout and maybe need you guys to motivate me.

The segway tour at Epcot WS was one of my most favorite days at Disney. I would love to do it again with my whole family. My oldest DS is 14, and can't wait to turn 16 to take the tour - he has finally broken the 100 lb minimum rule, but not the age rule. It would be a great family activity.

We did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at MK a few years ago. If they are still offering the tour it is definately a fun one.
The toure took about 6 hours. We ate lunch at the Columbia House near the Haunted Mansion. We went in the behind the scene entrance to several rides. The best part for me was the underground tunnels beneath Main Street. We also got to see where Tinkerbell lands after flying from the castle.
I am a Disney buff and they explain alot about the history and some of Walt Disney's visions for the parks.

I'm contemplating either the Keys to the Kingdom tour or the Segway tour at EPCOT but I'm not quite sure what to do with my 9 year old lol. I know they have the pirate cruise at BC but both that and the Segway tour are listed as 2 hour events. If we do the same events at the same time, what do they do with the kids that aren't picked up on time? Add the walk from EPCOT to BC, and that could add an additional 15-20 minutes. Would they walk them to the kids club area at BC till they get picked up for a fee? Any suggestions?

Wilderness Back Trail Tour is excellent...Segway again and longer than the epcot one and so much fun. It is at Fort Wilderness and we did it in the pouring rain and it was still great. Still get some Disney trivia and knowledge..but it is more off road than paved roads.

Was really down in the dumps for what to do but with all these great ideas you are starting to get me excited about the next trip. Maybe this will be a tour trip. Other trips have focused on food or rides in the parks. Segway either EPCOT or Ft. Wilderness (she is in the 110 pound range but don’t tell anyone I said that) I think is a go. Keys and the two Animal Kingdom tours are possibilities (she loves, loves, loves animals) and maybe we do Divequest again. I thought though that the Safari was only open to Concierge guests. From the description it doesn’t look like that is the case. Any more suggestions are welcome.
