Hi all. Can someone explain just what is a "signature" and how to set one up.
Your signature is simply something you want to display at the end of every post you make. Many people will put in photos, countdown tickers, a listing of Disney Trips they've made, and so on.
When you make a post, at the end of your regular post will be a horizontal line. Then everything in your signature follows below that. It will appear in all your posts. Even in old posts you've already made.
To create a signature click on UserCP, then select Edit Signature. You'll get a screen similar to making a regular post. You can use the colors, fonts, smiles, etc just like you would in a regular post. You can browse through the boards and look at the signatures users have created to give you some ideas.
To post photos you'll first need to upload your photo to a server somewhere and then link to the server. To put in a countdown you'll need to use one of the commercial countdowns out there and post the link in your signature.
If you have any specific questions feel free to post back.
