The 25th race of the 2019 season is the "Bojangles' Southern 500" at Darlington Raceway on SUNDAY, September 1st.
Qualifying is set for SATURDAY August 31st. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
We have a week off so I will bump this from time to time...

Darlington Raceway is a 4 turn egg shaped oval with a lap distance of 1.366 miles. There will be 367 laps raced for a total race distance of 501 miles.
The track is egg shaped due to an owner of a farms refusal to relocate a pond at the time of construction.
The track owns 2 nicknames. The "Lady in Black" and "The Track Too Tough To Tame". Cool....
Nascar used to visit Darlington twice a year but that stopped in 2004 and this race was moved from its usual race date of Labor Day weekend until it returned to Labor day weekend in 2015.
The only Major record held by a current driver is for average finish by #11 D Hamlin at 6.2 place.
The most wins by an active driver belongs to #11 D Hamlin and #48 J Johnson who each won 2 times.
#2 B Kezelowski won the 2018 race.
In addition to #2 winning once, the #4, the #19 and the #18 all have one win.
