    Thank you!
That is so cool about that cruise! I like Lifehouse too!! Oh & I agree about the Avett Brothers & Phillip Phillips!!

The funny thing is, I am not religious, and never listened to Christian rock! Then my DH's aunt (super religious & only listens to Christian rock) & I were talking about music and when I told her about some of the bands I'm into she laughed at me! Apparently I do like Christian rock :rotfl:

I did know that Jars of Clay were a Christian rock group and discovered them years ago. Their song "40 days" is a favorite of mine!!!

I have a very eclectic taste in music but I cannot get into the heavy country stuff. But, pop country like Carrie Underwood & Taylor Swift I've been known to rock out to on occassion! :lmao:

Ha! I could say exactly the same! I always thought if Christian rock as screaming Jesus and Creed, but it's not, there is a positive message there regardless of your beliefs, and a lot of really great talent. DS8 insists on listening to Radio Disney and that silly Taylor Swift gets stuck in my head :-) All that said, I'll always be a rocker at heart. My bf plays in a Skynyrd tribute band and I never get tired of listening to him Southern white trash rock holds a dear place in my heart.

I'm going to give shout outs to a few guys who don't get a lot of US AirPlay (which I can't understand)

-Robbie Williams. British pop/rock singer. If you saw the movie 'Cars II' he sang the closing credits song 'Collision of Worlds' with Brad Paisley. My favorite albums of his are probably 'The Ego Has Landed', 'Rudebox' & 'Reality Killed the Radio Star'. There's some adult language but I just love it.
-Seth Lakeman. More folk than rock. I think my favorite album is 'Poor Mans Heaven'.

I'll offer up some recent downloads as well!

Steps- 5,6,7,8 (very silly British dance pop)
2NE1- I Am The Best (Korean pop, heard this in a video game and loved it)
The music from Sherlock (I personally love "Mind Palace and Solution")
Adele- Skyfall (most recent Bond theme and love her music in general)
Katy Perry- ET (another one from a video game but I like her as well)
Jason Mraz- I Won't Give Up (another recent find)
Liberty X- Just A Little (found this on youtube and fell in love with it, also UK R&B)
Various Doctor Who themes (I have 10 and 11, just need 9 if one does exist)
