If you want to see a picture in a larger size, just click on it and it will take you to my flickr account. You can then also see my many other Aladdin (and other) pictures that I didn't share in my TR.

Your Aladdin pics are amazingly clear. Great job on them. I can't believe you have more than what you posted. Were you on continuous shooting?? :rotfl2:

Thanks!

continuous shooting? Pretty well!!! :rotfl: I took at least 347 photos! I still figure the more I take the more keepers there will be.

Great pics! :)

Thanks!

I'll be able to finish this TR soon. March Break is coming up next week, and with no trip  I can work on my TRs... while painting and redoing all my room too. I need to do something to keep my mind off the fact that I should be at WDW or DL!

After Aladdin, I decided to head out of the park. I wanted to go see at least the Grand Californian and browse their shops a few minutes before heading in to DL again for a last visit.

This was fitting:

I was blocked by the little parade, so I did what I do...

I need to buy some. I love this stuff! I use it more for special occasions or for when I need a Disney fix. I don't have any with Disney on it though, just the normal H2O stuff that I have to pay a fortune for because there are no stores near here.

I was hungry and there was somewhere I knew I HAD to eat before leaving.... I love this place and I can only eat it at Downtown Disney.

I decided that I should ride the monorail. So I waited, and waited and waited and waited! For possibly 40 minutes. I could have walked, but I had never been on the monorail at DL. I think they were only running one that day, and even though they kept saying that it was a one way trip, people were not always getting off.

Before I end my TR, I wanted to share a few photopass pictures and a few from my cell phone that didn't quite get put in the right spots. Sorry about that.

I look happy to be there:

Instead of my normal just giddy smiling faces, I was going for some different poses on rides. I am not showing all of them, because there were quite a few where I just had my normal smiling giddy face.

A frozen lemonade. I forgot to get a spoon and I could only find a fork somewhere else. It worked for a bit, then I used the straw.

So I did a few things I had never done:

Eat in Club 33!!!
With Bob Gurr!!!!
Rode the monorail
Rode the Lilly Belle
Rode the Matterhorn (closed on my first trip)
Carsland (not open last time)
Toontown (somehow missed it)
Saw Mickey and the Magical Map
Tom Sawyer Island
Earl of Sandwich in California (only ate in Florida before)

But I may have missed a few things that I had either never done, or just love to do:

See World of Color
See Fantasmic!

I guess that means that I must go back!

So the big highlight was Club 33 and the amazing people that I dined with. Lovely people! Thank you again!!!

Carousel Inn and Suites was a nice hotel. SO CLOSE! I could easily stay there again. And hopefully I will. I did not enjoy taking all my luggage to the actual bus stop to wait for the Disneyland Express though. That was not fun.

I do need to do up my WDW trip report from last August, plus make a photobook for both trips. Then I have to plan for my TWO WEEK WDW trip this summer! I've never gone so long and I am extremely excited. My sister, her husband and my 14 year old niece are coming along with me. It's a trip for my niece mostly, so I'm trying to plan as much as I can for her.

So here was the last picture I took on the trip, except for two of the sunrise from the plane.

Sorry to hear your TR is ending. So sad. Nice selfies...um photopass shots!! Make sure you include a link for your next report. Off to dream about my next trip........

Hahahaha Selfies!

Dreaming about next trips... I do it all the time. Even if there is none in the works. :) I dream of being able to teleport myself to Disney when I feel like it, for little visits or longer visits. I'd still get a hotel though for a longer trip, it would take the fun out of it to sleep in my own bed in between visits. :lmao:

I know this was two years ago but your wait times for July are making me feel a little better about August! Do you have any tips on how to attack one full day with both parks (without the extra magic hours)?

I used ridemax on my first trip. I liked that. I will suggest that you do not go on the weekend! I found the weekend PACKED in comparison to weekday. All the locals come out for the weekend. LOL I don't know how much you would be able to do in both parks in the one day, so pick your favorites, and if you don't mind the walk, you can get FPs in each park. I seriously do not consider myself a DL expert.

Hey, I just noticed you'll be in DL about the same time I'm in WDW! (I may have known that before...) Have fun!

Ah see I didn't want to pay for a service haha! We were planning on picking things WDW doesn't have and making those priority. I'll just have to do some more internet digging! We're going on a Monday which I'm now wishing we chose a day or two later but that's how our cards fell! Thank you!

Can't wait to read your next trip report!

Hee hee... I totally understand! I like your thoughts on just picking what WDW does not have. Don't forget that some rides are a little different and it's fun to compare. Star Tours (in my memory) and TSMM are pretty similar. ToT is a lot like the one at WDW but a little different. People say that Space is smoother at DL. Splash is the same (as far as I remember) and Peter Pan and Soarin', but Pirates is a little different. I would suggest riding Pirates for sure, and HM is similar, but you need to go through because it's a little different, especially the house! Don't forget It's a Small World. You have to do that one to see the characters!

And if you don't mind single rider lines, I found that there were a few more at DL, usually walking in the queue through the exit, but you ask a CM and get a SR card first. Splash, Indiana Jones, the Matterhorn, California Screamin', Goofy's Sky School (I never did ride this one!), Grizzly River Run (Or this! If I'd known there was a SR line I would have!!!), Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin' all have SR lines. Hey, the list I found on line had GRR but not the Matterhorn, but I KNOW the Matterhorn has it, and it's a dedicated line, so they have to have it. LOL. Going SR if it's busy will help you experience more rides. Indy SR is confusing, with going up and down elevators too!
