Has anyone created a list of movies to make sure your kids have watched before your trip to DL? So many movies come to mind but I don't go to DL very often so I am guessing some of the experts around here would have a more complete list.

DH and I don't have any kids together so I can only tell you what we, two little kids at heart, watch before going. Number one choice is CARS. I didn't like the movie until after I went to Carsland and when I watched it afterwards I couldn't believe how incredible the theming was. It feels like you are right smack dab in the movie.

Other favorites to watch over the next couple of months while we wait include (and in no particular order):
It's a Bug's Life
Peter Pan
Dumbo
Pinocchio
Snow White
Winnie the Pooh
Little Mermaid
Princess and the Frog
Sleeping Beauty

not a complete list, but it's the ones I know we have lined up already to watch. I'm hoping we can go see Tomorrowland some time before we go too.

In addition to the PP's list above, I'd add:

Sleeping Beauty (it makes doing the castle walk-through more fun)
Snow White
Alice in Wonderland
The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr. Toad
Haunted Mansion (I thought this would be awful, but it ended up being fun, and DD10 & DS7 really like it)
Tower of Terror (Kids like it a lot and when we get to DLR they talk about what things on ToT are the same as and different from the movie)
Tarzan
The Toy Story movies
Pirates of the Caribbean (the 1st one)

For my Senior Trip, two days before my trip. I hyped myself up for meeting Marie, by watching The Aristocats again on my Netflix account. I watched the first and second films of The Rescuers during the afternoon to prepare myself for my trip to the Magic Kingdom the next morning. It really worked since I finally got to watch The Recuers for the first time. Watching the Rescuers was fitting due to the beatufiul flying scenes in both films.

I love doing this! I'll get little slips of paper with Movie titles printed on them and then put them in a box for them to pull out for the month or two before the DL trip. That way the rides mean more to them. Here's my too-long list:

Pirates of the Caribbean (my older two are ready for this one)
Wind in the Willows
Peter Pan
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Song of the South (yip, I have it, though quality isn't the best)
Indiana Jones Last Crusade (least scary of the movies)
Davy Crockett films
Pinnochio
Snow White
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty
Tangled
Dumbo
Alice in Wonderland
Beauty and the Beast
Little Mermaid
Duck Tales Episodes
Rescue Rangers Episodes
Finding Nemo
Star Wars Movies and TV shows
Toy Story 1 and 2 (3 maybe)
Roger Rabbit (only portions with a hand on the mute button)
Summer Magic (music is played down Main Street)
Aladdin
Mary Poppins
Frozen
A Bug's Life
Monster's Inc.
Muppets (though that attraction is gone now)
Cars 1 & 2
Old Mickey Mouse/Goofy/Donald cartoons
Brother Bear (Redwood Creek challenge)
Tarzan
Avengers Assemble cartoons
Up
Wall-E

We watch Cars (as PP stated, not that great until after you have been to Carsland!) The Pirates movies and Nightmare Before Christmas.

These responses are AWESOME! Thank you!

Any reason to watch either of the Planes movies? (Especially with Grizzly Peak / Smoke jumpers?) We're big fans of Cars, but Planes did not jump out as a must see.
