Monorail Refurb & How It Affects MK Resorts

Does anyone know when the monorail schedule will be back to normal? Trying to determine if it's going to be worth the extra $ to book a monorail resort for our Nov 1 trip. Thanks.

I read through December. That's why I booked to stay at Contemporary on MK days. If it's down we can just take path.

If you take the resort bus to HS to then go to Epcot do you need a park hopper? Can you take the boat from HS without actually using a days ticket in HS? Wasn't sure if it was inside the park entrance or are you taking a bus from HS?

All Disney transportation let's you off outside the turnstiles.
