Hi! I noticed that some people have thier own saying under their screen name instead of DIS Vet or Moderator or DIS Guest. How do I put my saying under my name? Thanks!crimson

I'm sorry, I'm all new to this kind of things.

Welcome to the DIS! No need to apologize, we all had to learn it when we were new. :D

Click on the link at the top of the screen that says user cp. That stands for user control panel. The, go into the section that says edit profile. You can change your tag there. :D

Thanks teri! Where exactly I can edit this? I don't see a place to change this. Could it be under biography? Or interest? Oh...I don't know.

Maryjo, after the word Gender, right at the bottom they are already asking to hit "submit Modification" or hit "Reset Fields". Honest Maryjo, I don't see the word the word "Custom Use Text" there is not even a space to put the info I want. Ooooh, I'm so sorry, I'm such a pain. :(

Me neither. I printed out the instructions and went back to look, thinking I had missed something.

Nope. It goes right from Birthdate: to Biography.

Must be a glitch. What's the number on this one, Mary Jo? 672? :earseek:

hee hee. Whenever you guys get around to fixing it is fine with me. I know you're extremely busy!

Hi folks! I hope this clears it up a bit.

There is a minimum # of days you need to be registered and a minimum # of posts you need to make BEFORE you can change your title.

I'm still trying to find the place where I saw these exact #'s. As soon as I do, I'll let you know what they are.

(I'm going to take a guess at 30 days and 10 posts)

Mr Wise Cricket! This grasshopper is in awe of your many talents! That answers alot of questions!

I have the 10 posts requirement, now I'll have to wait for the 30 days. I think alot of people re-registered to the new boards with a different name.

Might it be possible to make this fact known to the general population? You know, like the posts that stay at the top like Pete's been putting out?

Thanks for the answer! I'll keep Mary Jo's printed instructions so I can make the changes in late May!

    :bounce: :pinkbounc:

(oh crap-a-doodle. pinky bounce doesn't wanna work. Just imagine a pinky bounce here!)

Oh thank you so much!! I guess it hasn't been 30 days for me, but I do have more than 10 posts already!!

Yep! New board....new name for me!! However, I'll probably log in to my first name sometimes!!

    aka: Fantasia_

I'll be waiting for my 30 days!! This means waiting for 30 days will only shorten my wait for my trip in Sept!!:pinkbounc

Howdy neighbor! My folks live near Battle Creek and when I saw the city I remembered there was another member on this board by the name "Fantasia" from there.

Small world! I used to be "Stormlover" from Lansing but left in a "huff" at the beginning of April over the whole stupid "Disneypeep" fiasco.

I'm glad to be back and seeing some of my old friends again. I remember you had a wonderful trip and were asking many questions about the value resorts before your last trip.

We're in the same boat! Old users with new names. Unfortunatly have to wait 30 days before making changes. Not a problem.

    Good seeing you again!
