Has anyone here done MNSSHP as a couple with no kids or solo?

Did ya feel out of place? Did you dress up?

My fiance and I are planning on attending and dressing up as Pebbles and Bam Bam (the later years) and want to know if we will feel out of place or if anyone else does it too...

Thanks for any info...;)

What is MNNSSHP?? Sorry, but I don't know what that stands for.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

This is a good topic. I've wondered about it myself. I go solo and have never been there when this or MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) were going on. I don't know if I should make plans in the future to go when these are happening. Anyone that has been have any thought? Thanks.

My DH and I have been to MNSSHP twice. The first time was its first year and just by chance. The second time was 3 years ago and we brought costumes with us. They were costumes we had worn to local Ren Faires over the years. While at that time a lot of people didn't dress us most of the cast members who saw us complimented us on getting in the spirit

We had a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to dress up again. Even if you don't dress up go and enjoy - it is a great evening!

:) My DH and I went last year and had a fabulous time. Yes we did dress up (like Mouseketeers) and we didn't feel silly because there were ALOT of other adults dressed up to!!!

The fireworks are amazing and the lines for the rides are short.

We had a wonderful time. Hope you do too!!!

seems like lots of adults do dress up!

so here's my question about going the other way:

what if my bf and i are having lots of trouble figuring out what to dress up as? all the ideas we've had seem like it'd be a whole lot of effort!

if we were to dress up, i'd want to be in great costumes! wouldn't want to only go half way in a not-so-good costume.

we were thinking we might be uncomfortable (physically) in our costumes...

so, will we look like party poopers if we don't dress up after all? :p

I haven't been to MNSSHP yet but I did attend Halloween Horror Night and the PI Costume Party solo last year. I had fun at both.

As for dressing up for MNSSHP, I don't think you'll feel out of place if you don't. If you don't want to go the full costume route, many adults that I saw entering had on Halloween themed shirts or painted their faces.

If you go to the PI party, I'd go in costume. Some people didn't but the majority had one on.

...Disney says they must be non-constricting, like you don't have to take them off to ride the attactions.

We're going as clowns, half-way dressed, probably.
We'll be there 10/31.

We've been to MNSSHP with another couple, although we didn't have costumes. We had a great time, collected candy just like the kids, loved the parade, loved seeing the kids dressed up and the MK dressed up for Halloween. Would definitely go back. Because it was so dark, we kept losing each other, so we bought glow in the dark Mickey ears headbands and even my DH wore one!
