Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for park open when MK is opening at 8 a.m? When do they start letting people into the park and do they still hold the Let the Magic Begin show at the castle?

Our park hours just changed for 12/3 and I'm re-configuring our plans based on the earlier open (which I'm super excited about! )

Thanks!

They let people onto Main Street 7:45ish. Welcome show at the castle is 7:55, after which the “ropes drop” to the various lands.

I just did an 8am opening a few weeks ago and was reminded how WONDERFUL they are!

:-)

Everything is the same, just an hour earlier!

Respectful clarification so people don’t get confused.... For a 9am opening, they open Main Street an hour (ish) early and you’re free to roam Main Street / The Hub up to the castle for that full hour.

8am and earlier openings don’t follow that same “Main Street open an hour early” pattern.

You are correct. Thank you for expounding on that.

Would the Main Street Bakery then also open at 8:00 am then? Just trying to figure out if we can skip breakfast at the hotel and grab something at MK.

Thanks for this info. We will be there on 28 Feb for my Birthday day (DD is two days later). So looking forward to experiencing the entire day from Let the Magic Begin to they park closing at 10Pm that night (planned rest day to follow)!
