Exactly, PIO!! I feel like I'm in Las Vegas already - DH has called me 3 times today - I think we're being missed! ;)

He has walked the strip today and checked out the hotels, especially the Venetian, as well as the Fashion Show Mall. He also took a picture of the Sephora at the Venetian and told me that it's waiting for me to arrive - you bet it is!! :yay:

Meanwhile here we are about to work out which clothes the kids are taking....tick, tick, ticking things off the list!! :goodvibes
 
Keep ticking things off your list. Tearing your hair out at this stage would be disastrous for your Wella woman performance. :lmao:
 
Hahaha :rotfl2: I'm keeping every hair on my head, or else!! Although I will have them all trimmed and foiled to my "natural" blonde on Friday! Nothing is gonna stop me from Wella woman-ing my way around Manhattan!

You can picture it - "look at that" as I fling my head to the right, "look at this" head flings to the left...."oh, how hysterical" as I throw my head back and laugh hilariously!! I think I'm sick of myself already!! ;)

DH is having fun in Las Vegas, checking out the Venetian which is where we will be staying when we get there in June. His conference starts on Monday, his sister arrives on Tuesday and then they both head to NYC on Friday - this week is a huge one for all of us!!

I promise to post a pic of me with my fabulous hair (I really hope it ends up like I want it to), I can imagine you all looking at it and saying to yourselves "she actually thinks that she looks good?!" :confused::confused::confused:

DH had a great time at his first day of the conference, then "accidentally" found himself in the Paris hotel casino!! DSIL will leave London in about 2 hours to meet him in Las Vegas - wow, things are all really happening!!! :goodvibes

Picking up DS15 from soccer training soon, then once we're locked in for the night I'm opening the suitcases - yep - tonight the packing starts!!!!! :banana:

Wow - back in my dark shop after closing finishing more and more work - I don't know how I'm going to leave here on Friday afternoon!? :crazy2:

The kids are with my mum and dad for dinner while I'm here, and everything at home is ready - I'm just slightly freaking out about all of this work. I have great ladies to do it all when I leave - but I'm a bit of a control freak when I know that I'll be away for so long....time for some deep breathing!! :upsidedow

My DSIL has arrived in Las Vegas, so now there are 2 mad poms on the loose over there!! So, DH's holiday has begun, DSIL's has begun and there's just us left to go - 5 more sleeps....(but only 2 more days of work......HUGE SIGH!!!) :)

As I sit here AGAIN at work finishing things, there are a lot of things to be thankful for (in no particular order!):

- 1 more day of work. :dance3:
- Getting my hair done tomorrow! :cheer2:
- My most fabulous best friend is coming to have coffee with me while I have my hairdo (I will miss her to bits) :goodvibes
- My wonderful staff member, Diane is coming back to work tomorrow after 8 weeks off!! :wave2:
- My parents are beyond amazing. :grouphug:
- My kids are keeping it together even though I have worked constantly this past week. princess:pirate:
- I have a gorgeous husband and beautiful sister-in-law waiting to kiss and hug us when we get to NYC. :lovestruc
- There are lovely people on disboards who "get" me. :flower3:
- Listening to Queen at Live Aid on Youtube LOUD while working is FANTASTIC!! :):):):):):):)

......and, as you can see - I love my litsts!! :rolleyes1

Good luck with getting everything done tomorrow-you know whatever you can't quite sign off on can be left to your trusty workers! Relax over that hairdo and coffee! (got mine done today) and have a wonderful time.
