Adult FE gifts anyone? I have seen them made with fabric before
They are so cool - seen them before at foodie shows. I am loving Kasey's idea with the extra long straw!

I've been "holding" for almost 3 months....
I'll take that B+ and the virtual drink Mandygirl gave me !
Sarah and Chris ---
Please add an event -- sdlong329 (Steven) is going to be coordinating a Group Palo Dinner. I believe he had posted about this on facebook. KaseyC is focusing only on Group Brunch (confirmed that with her already)
On the 2011 EBTA, we did a recipe exchange. Would anyone be interested in that? I am sure I could figure out how to organize it if anyone else would be interested. It was cool getting peoples favorite recipes from all over the world

You rock!
Maybe our PubCrawl or Private Tastings organizers remember this better -- but did someone mention a "need to get rid of excess alcohol" event towards the end of the cruise? Not the packing night but the night prior -- so after Gibraltar?
I think we did something similar on WBTA - deck 9 after late dinner... tables near kids splash center because it was quieter in that area, near beverage station for mixing drinks, had several tables. Or am I remembering things incorrectly? (Sarah? Paul?)

I'm on another message board and most of our smilies are named for members. That one is called :doc:. But on here, I'll think of it as yoursHAHAHA do you have to put your glass down to use the fingers on the other hand? Or have you mastered that talent, too???
(that is my new favorite smilie -- I am tempted to use it in every post from now on haha)

I'd be up for that. Can we do desserts or does it have to be a dinner type thing? I have a few favorite dessert recipes. On the 2011 EBTA, we did a recipe exchange. Would anyone be interested in that? I am sure I could figure out how to organize it if anyone else would be interested. It was cool getting peoples favorite recipes from all over the world
I think that means that we'd also have two extra tickets if anyone is interested. On the longer cruises there is A Princess at Sea Tea Party held in Lumieres.
This is a ticketed event with invite sent to your stateroom, RSVP to be delivered to box in gift shop, the event is free.
Each prince and princess is allowed 2 adults to escort them to Tea party.
On the wbta those with extra adult spaces offered them to "fairy godmothers" that were not travelling with children. once we knew date of event we left a message on stateroom phone with date/time.
if this is offered again, is there anyone interested, i have 2 adult spaces to escort my princesses if anyone is interested.
You all are da bombAwesome job on Event Organizers jumping on the thread on a Saturday to do placeholders of new Part Two thread! We have four more we are waiting for. Those who have done your placeholder, please feel free to start adding your events to your post by editing that post. Some are already done. I have also linked the events in post #1 to your specific post (even if you have multiple events) so you will notice that in the first post now as hyperlinks.
Once the remaining four placeholders are held, I will
- add the new Part Two link to bottom of this current thread
- ask mod to close this current thread
Hopefully we can do this Monday or so after everyone has had a chance to get on DIS, see their PM from me, and type Placeholder on the link I provided.

.My two girls would love this, and that would open three adult spaces. (My DS is more the type to blow bubbles in his teacup. )

weeeeelllll - if they were run by women they would be!!!!Excellent plan. Businesses and governments should be run as efficiently.

Be sure that DCL knows no money is going to change hands - that is a NO NO for them...all events/activities have to be cash-less - or paid for in advance.Just keep a list of who is signing up on your "organizer" post
Pick a date, time, and location - and bring those items you mentioned
If we end up with 12 players, we only need 3 tables of four - so definitely easy to do it in various locations onboard (and even have a backup location in case there's an event going on on the location you set up). We just crash whatever location you determine
I am working on Post #1 now of new thread and put you down, will also included you after 2:00 Galveston time today in the PM going out
please do NOT bring the bottles on deck - if DCL sees bottles out there they could revoke the Privilege we have to bring our own on board...so PLEASE PLEASE if you are going to do a swap/can't take it off the ship deal - do it in a cabin or with the bottles covered somehow.Maybe our PubCrawl or Private Tastings organizers remember this better -- but did someone mention a "need to get rid of excess alcohol" event towards the end of the cruise?
