haha very funny your starting B2B is my ending B2B with the last day being my birthday. I'm going to wave from the deck at people in the terminal. Is this your first Disney cruise and do you have any questions. This will make my 8th & 9th cruise. I'll check back later but i might go missing at time busy with kitchen reno.

Wow, small group here so far! Maybe that means pixie dust!! :cool1:. This was a last minute cruise for DH and I. I saw the FL resident rates this morning, called and held the reservation, and left a note on DH's truck at work to ask for the time off. Late last year we had been planning to do the 1/14/13 sailing, and we were bummed that we missed out on the FL res rate for that, so needless to say we are pleasantly (THRILLED!!!!) to have found this cruise today! This is DH and my's 12th cruise on DCL, first time out of Miami. I have a headache after looking at the parking fees and alternative parking... I'll miss you Port Canaveral. But I am looking forward to doing this :beach: and this pirate: and eating this :cake: ::yes::::yes::::yes::

We just booked Wonder out of Miami on Florida resident rate!

So excited! My kids are DS 17 & DD 13, myself and hubby!

Is there a FE list or a facebook page etc?

33 days until we sail on the Wonder!

My husband and I are looking forward to our kid free getaway! Only feeling a little guilty that we're sailing DCL without them. The FL resident rate was a better deal than any other line at that time though. We haven't told them about this or that we're taking them on the Dream for the second time in September!

Just discovered the DIS boards while I was doing a little research for our March 7-11th cruise. Our family LOVES cruising, but this is our 1ST with Disney and we are so excited! We are celebrating our daughter Haileys 1ST Birthday!!! We also have a 2.5 year old son named Max. I read about the FE and would LOVE to participate. It would be so fun for Max. Is there a FE set up yet? We've never done it before so I need to get one before the trip and also put together gifts for others. Please let me know if there is a list of people wanting to participate :)

I asked too, I do not think there is an FE, I guess with just a few of us here on the board there won't be? Unless just a couple of us want to do it?

I am sure you will love the cruise, we started sailing Disney in 2001 and my daughter was 20 months at that time, my boys were 5, and 8 and tried to go back every year after that. They loved it! Now my kids are 13, 17 and 20! My 20 year old is in college and not coming this time. They grow up so fast. Happy Birthday to Hailey!

Hello everyone!! I asked a while ago about an FE or a possible meet-and-greet but have not heard a response about either. We would love to participate in either or both!! :thumbsup2 I am surprised this board is not busier as it seems the cruise is almost sold out and this is about the time that spring break starts for schools. :confused3

We are cruising with our 2 girls ages 17 months and 4 1/2 years old. My parents will be joining us also, this will be their first Disney cruise and our second. Actually, we just went on the Wonder in January on the 5-night cruise (that was our 1st Disney cruise) and just couldn't pass up the awesome Florida resident rate for this cruise! :cool1: So let's get this party started!!!

    Hello everyone!

It has been a long time since I have set foot on a cruise ship, and like many of you - I couldn't pass up the awesome FL rates! I am taking my mom and 4yo DD on our first Disney cruise (we're leaving the boys at home). I would love to do a meet-n-greet and if you can explain the whole FE deal, we will join that too!

Can't wait to join Mickey in a few weeks :-)

Thanks! We are so excited to be cruising with Disney! I hope it is the beginning of a yearly tradition for our family. It looks like we have enough people to start organizing a FE. Yay!!!!! I would organize it, but I'm not sure how because its our 1st Disney cruise. Do we have an experienced cruiser willing to collect the names, staterooms and assign days to distribute goodies?

Look here for an explanation of the FE. It's a really cute idea and I hope we have enough people interested to do one.

Ok, I went through the thread looking for people who said they wanted to participate in the FE gift exchange. So far we have 10 adults and 7 kids.

    Girasol312
    4 adults, 2 kids
    Girl 17 months
    Girl 4.5 years

    Joysnote
    2 adults, 2 kids
    Girl 13 years
    Boy 17 years

    LDevereaux
    2 adults, 2 kids
    Girl 11 months
    Boy 2.5 years

    dbarnett
    2 adults, 1 kid
    Girl 4 years

TRUN and egesicki both mentioned having 2 children onboard, but didn't say anything about doing the FE. Would you like to participate? I hope so :)

Also, any others (children or no children) who want to participate please respond to this post. It's fun for all ages!

I could do the fish extender, just e-mail your stateroom number and kids names and ages etc, number of people in stateroom. You can deliver the gifts whenever you like the first 3 days of cruise, Thurs, Fri . Sat that way everyone gets them and has time to pack them. my e-mail is Joysnote@aol.com
since we only have a few people here, everyone has to promise to participate or it won't be any fun. I have no idea how to make fish extender, I just hang up a cute a little Disney bag on mine.

We will definitely participate in the FE! Count us in!! I will email you our info shortly. BTW, eventhough my parents are coming with us, they will not be participating in the FE. So, it will be me, DH and our 2 daughters. This is getting soooo exciting now!!! :)

Awesome!!!! Thank you so much for helping to organize it! I PROMISE we will participate! Im already planning out what I'm going to make/give everyone. I don't have a fish extender yet, but I've been checking out some adorable ones they have for sale on Etsy and Ebay. We are 4 weeks out so I should still be able to order or make one.

Could you help explain the gift exchange? Do we give a small gift to each person in the cabin, one for the family or just for the kids? I've read places that some people bring a gift for the entire family and others bring individual gifts. I guess when we email you, we will need to specify who is participating and if it includes mom and dad?
