Marakesh menu good for picky kids?

We will be going with a typical picky 10 year old girl. She doesn't like any spicy (hot) foods or foods with very strong exotic flavors. She loves chicken or beef so am wondering if those items can be ordered without any strong spices or marinades used?

At a few other restaurants they've made dishes for the kids that aren't on the menu to their liking. Is Marakesh similar?

The kids menu has chicken tenders. Sounds like just regular chicken tenders. Are you intending to have her order off the adult menu because you're on the dining plan?

You have a couple of choices - ask if they will do the chicken tenders in an adult portion for her, or pay cash to get a chicken tenders kids meal for her, and save her credit. Anyone in your party can use the credit elsewhere. Do this at enough restaurants and you may have enough credits for another meal.

Yes, we will be on the DDP and she is 10, so would have the adult DDP. That is an idea to pay OOP for kids meals 3 nights then have enough credits for a 2TS dinner another night as there are 3 of us. She is a good eater so sometimes kids meals are too small but I know some places at Disney are more than ample sized.

I do recall that there were some nice chicken/rice dishes, which might suit. We found the service in the restaurant was wonderful, and they would accommodate any concerns you might have (i.e. basic roast chicken).
Chicken tenders if you have to ... and don't forget the honey-soaked desserts. We couldn't bear the thought, but our DD loves it!

You don't really have to worry about the food being too heavily spiced. We, too, were expecting things to be spicey and exotic, but to our surprise it was all relatively bland. The kebobs, for example, were simply prepared and not spicey at all. They come in chicken or beef and would be great for a picky eater. :goodvibes
