Brilliant news - when are you sailing? I'm on hold with DVC member services while they're speaking to DCL to book a cruise for me........ it's scary waiting :surfweb:

    we're going.

Sept 11th 4 nights. cat 9A (2A) was $1092 which is only about £650. I was well impressed!

We had originally wanted 18th September but I think that's been reserved for MC 2011.

Fingers crossed for you. I was just lucky and went and had a wee look on DCL website at about 11.30am (gmt) and was able to book then. Although i do think it was a bit cheeky that they told people they could only book at 8am (eastern usa). Good luck.

Prices not as much as I expected. Is it non refundable deposit? was thinking of booking this evening at the prices I have seen but not if its non refundable, can't be 100% sure of our plans almost 2 years away.

Only the Inaugural has a non-refundable, non-switchable $400 pp deposit policy, Wayne. All other Dream cruises same as usual and deposit is $200 pp...

Ah thats OK then, won't be able to get on 1st one, it will be August. Should have made a dummy booking onboard this August, never thought, would have saved a bit.

Are you sure cabin 7172 is a Cat 9a? 7172 looks like an 8c on the colour codes. I think it's the same as a 9a, just has an extra bed?
We booked this morning too and have a GTY 9a. I'm hoping for an upgrade to the Royal Suite!!:lmao:

LOL Joa ~ now that would be some upgrade :rotfl:

We managed to get booked on the 5 night double dip sailing 16th August in a Cat 8a, I was on the phone to MS for about 45 minutes while they spoke to DCL and I got the last 8a on that cruise :dance3:

You were the calming voice of reason that got me through the weekend
