    Hi there,

Please see a couple of pictures taken on a visit to Maho beach during a port stop during the WBTA.

Being in the air force for 20 years, I know what happens when a jet blast occurs, you may notice that someone was blown over by the jet blast, this is none other than Lynne "Orlandothebeagle"

    Hi Stephen - awesome photos.

I bet no-one comes out to watch the planes take off in their bikinis up where you are! It's just above freezing with us today - I'd swap PD for Maho Beach anyday. :hippie:

These pics are awesome (and hilarious). I love St. Maarten beaches, and am counting the days until our cruise stop next month! Thanks for posting!

Hi, when were you there? I notice there is alot of beach but I heard that the beach is gone now because of the hurricanes. Also, it is only when they are taking off that you get blown over not when they are landing right? We plan on going there in Jan. on our cruise. Thanks for the great pictures!

    Hi there,

The beach is a fun place to stay for a few hours, we visited on the 28 Sep and yes it's a fairly large beach. Yes the jet blast is when the large aircraft are taking off, my advice is stand to the side and watch those "braving the elements"

    Enjoy

That's awesome- I think I can just make myself out as a tiny dot on one of your photos!

Maho Beach was definitely a highlight of the WBTA. How did you guys get out there? We were going to taxi it but ended up using budget. It was a fun day!! :goodvibes
