So when is the magic leaving Galveston? May 10 last sail date? Or will it be back in the fall or 2014?

May 18 is the last departure date--she leaves for the trans-Atlantic cruise on that date with sailings in the Med to follow.

The, I think she's back in Galveston in the fall of 2013 after the dry dock.

It's actually the Wonder that will be in Galveston in the Fall of 2013. Some people booked on the fall 2013 cruises are a bit nervous that DCL will simply pull the rug under them and move the ship back to Florida earlier. We're hoping to book one of the Fall 2013 Wonder cruises when we are aboard the Magic in early February. --Katie

Disney said once the last sailing for Galveston in 2013 was done, then their agreement was up with the port and they were leaving. Someone posted the article on the boards here a couple months ago. I don't think they will be back for 2014, they wanted to try new ports

We just booked the may 10 cause we read/heard Disney was bringing all it's ship back to Florida in 2014.

I vaguely recall the article and reading DCL had contracted for 2013 and 2014, but was leaving early after 2013.

I think DCL had a tough time breaking into an already competitive market. With low bookings, DCL ended up changing some itineraries.

The last Galveston sailing on the books is January 4, 2014. A four night cruise to Cozumel. After that, nada.
