    WBTA 9/6/14 2A Cat T $4130/4130 Taxes/Fees $156.54 Total $8416.44 no trans, no ins

Just as an apples to apples comparison:

14-night WBTA 9/18/10, booked opening day before 9am also, 2 adults Cat T: $4199/4199, taxes/fees $123.46, $&%^%$#@ fuel supplement (which we were not able to remove, hence the %^&$&^$) $224 for total of $8745.46

So the 2014 WBTA cruise itself is actually $329 cheaper than the 2010. :goodvibes

Not 100% sure we are going yet, but I have more than a year to work on hubby!

That data point is flawed as it is not actually 35% off. The way the system does it is it takes the original price you booked and discounts 25% for Hurricane Sandy. Then it takes 10% off for your onboard booking. Then it adds the gov't taxes. It works out to 32.5% off the cruise fare.

    I was on that sailing.

Will be onboard in less than 2 weeks but wanted to make sure of the reservation. Will look to re-book on board for discount and OBC if price increases don't negate that.

For 2 adults, 3 kids I looked at one room online:

    6/26/14 00T 2A/3K (10,8,5) $25,177.75 w/o OBB discount, insurance or transfers
    6/26/14 4E 2A/3K (10,8,5) $11,911.75 w/o OBB discount, insurance or transfers

Then called for two rooms (she gave me approximates, and the second 9A class she said no adjoining left)

    6/26/14 5C 2A/3K (10,8,5) ~$18,000 w/o OBB discount, insurance or transfers (two rooms)
    6/26/14 9A 2A/3K (10,8,5) ~$14,000 w/o OBB discount, insurance or transfers (two rooms)

    5/19/14, Cat 7A 2A1K(8) $1080/1080/496.80 + 195.33 taxes and fees with OBB w/o transfers/insurance
    total $2852.13.

We were going to book an Alaskan in August, but even with airfare this was cheaper. We will visit WDW at the beginning and spend 4-5 days in Barcelona and surrounding area. So excited. We can always do Alaska next year. I would have liked to have done the WBTA, but with my DD I figured it was easier to miss 3 weeks at the end of grade 3 rather than 3 weeks at the beginning of grade 4.
