Lucy I'm Home a DCL TR The FINALE !!!

Pat, any chance you can cure not willing to be seen in a bathing suit since the number 6 is no longer my size??? :rotfl:
:scratchin I'm thinking a trip to a nude beach should do it! :beach: After some of the sights you will probably see there, :scared: a bathing suit won't seem NEARLY so bad.......... :rotfl2:

Rosie, as you know, I am very seldom here anymore, but I am reading your updates and loving all the pictures on the cruise.

When I was a kid I loved the beach and pools - as a young child we lived a block from the ocean and then never more than a short drive. Until moving to NC I could always smell the ocean. Now I sink, will not go in a pool and only walk along the edge of the water on the beach (terrified of whatever lurks in the water. )No idea when I forgot how to swim...I cannot even dog paddle.

Thankfully, my kids also loved the water and were great swimmers. My son was jumping off the high dive backwards at 11 - no idea if that is the norm, but it seemed young to me and scared the heck of me when I watched him!

Rosie, have fun!!! :cool1:

:sad2::sad2::sad2: :rotfl2:

I was going to suggest Christine come to a class at my center. When you see all my seniors in all their shapes and sizes you will feel more comfortable in a bathing suit in public. :rotfl2:

This senior is far to wise to subject the public to such a thing.:rotfl2:

Yeah for getting the whole gang in the pool. Looks like everyone was having a great time, but that's a lot of people to watch. I'm surprised only one person made it on the "bad" list! :rotfl:

Yeah I can cure you. :fish:

Several reasons why people don't like water in their face- heck I don't really like it either but I just deal with it better than most. :lmao:

Usually it is water in the eyes , up the nose or both. Combine that with the discomfort of not being able to see or breathe and yup- not a great experience.

I can cure that if you are willing. ;)

Have a wonderful trip!!!!!
I can swim and I do go in pools but I just don't like going under , never have , now Judy and the kids just love going under and have NONE of my phobias and I really think that's what it is !!

Rosie, have fun on your Elvis trip! I hope Carol is coming too! :rotfl2:
Carol did not go to Elvis my co escort was Laurie and we got along just fine and had a lot of laughs !!!!

Ahh catching up. breakfast looked yummy, was that fried chicken with the waffle and pancake? And whip cream makes everything yummy, and when its on a vacation its Calorie FREE LOL. speaking of calorie free lunch and dinner again Im so glad you take all kinds of pics. Dessert always gets me.

I love the title too, its my sister's and my favorite show. Got to love when you can have fun and joke around with your group.

Cant wait to read more!!!

That wasn't fried chicken , it was something else sweet , can't remember what , but I am sure Karin will know !!! Yes it is fun to joke around with the group , it always amazes me that on Day we are strangers and by the last day are like family!!!

We had worked up an appetite by now and so wondered over to Cabanas on the same deck for some lunch

Carving station Roast beef

We headed to Enchanted Gardens for Pirates Night

I loved the different ways they wore their bandanas :lmao:

Carole and our sweet Nancy!!!

I do believe this was my crabcake

An interesting slad

Nancy's potstickers that Carole started to cut up for her before I got my shot :rotfl2:
PB is acting up so I will continue later ;)

Rosie, I love the pirate bandanas that everyone is wearing.

Your crabcake looks yummy.

I'm off to Disney tomorrow and then the wedding next weekend so it will be a while before I get back here.

Behave yourself, and don't let Marv give you any grief

Yes I am back from Elvis and about to go to go to Vermont !! 4 of the guys going are from our agency so we will already know 1/2 of the group!!!:yay:
I agree about the way we have FUN together . It is one of the favorite things for me. How complete strangers in many cases get to know each other in such a short time and just have FUN . Of course that is RULE #3 :rotfl2::rotfl2:

The next morning I watched from the Verandah ( no coffee) as we pulled into Nassau

:lmao:

tea?

Breakfast looks YUMMY! Very sad we didn't make it there on our cruise.

Well now is the time to reveal the reason for the Title!!Somehow the guys started talking about the LUCY Show and all saying "LUCY I'm Home " The leader of this was Kevin and we nicknamed him Lucy for the rest of the trip !! The guys all got a huge charge outta this including Kevin:rotfl2:So it was just a No Brainer what the TR should be called !!:goodvibes. Bryan became Ethel and liked that too :rotfl2: Things like this are what Bond the guys and make for a FUN trip!!!

LOVE it!

We then made the HUGE mistake of going in the Straw Market, those gals were PESTS and Pushy , it was a nightmare with our guys ,I did manage to buy T Shirts for myself and the kids , and a wooden elephant for Judy's boyfried , and a really cute picture frame for Judy !! Then we found the Rum store and I purchased a Rum cake . We did some more shopping in regular stores where there was NO pressure and then headed back to the boat.

Other than the nightmare of the straw market it sounds like a great day in Nassau! Well done!!!

The next day was our Sea Day and after another breakfast at the Poyal Palace we donned our swim suits and headed to the Adult pool

What an amazing, impressive and wonderful effort. Everyone looks like they are having so much fun. They are SO blessed to have you Rosie!

Her Royal Highness Rosie:rotfl2:

Caught up again. I forget what I'm reading since I pop in and out so much. Love the bandanas. I don't know if I'll ever get on a cruise but so far yours looks like it was a lot of fun.

I have to go read Scott's PTR. I didn't know he was planning to meet up with folks again. Of course we already have time together in the works.
