9 at my current job.
I'm a bit transient because of my husband's military career. I will have my 2-year review next week at my current job and that will be the longest I've worked at one place!
do you like moving a lot, I would hate that but I think it makes you a stronger person who could adjust more easily to about anything
30.3 years, I retired in 2009.
14 years and counting. My first real full time job. Got it right out of college.
I'd say yes and no. I dislike it because I have had some pretty amazing jobs and made great friends over the years that I was sad to leave, but it's also nice to get to see new places and new things. Plus you're never really anywhere long enough to get bored of your situation. Right about the time that you start to get "an itch", you are preparing to move again.
14 years and counting. I can't believe how fast the years have gone.
6.5 years at my current job. I have been a nurse for 30 years. I get bored easily and have to move on. So much so that I was a travel nurse for 8 years working somewhere new every 13 weeks.
DH has been at the same job at the same location 41 years. Unbeilevable.
dont they, I swear it just seems like yesterday I was walking there as the kid, now Im the old guy
14 years in October

My dh has been military our whole marriage, so lots of moves. As a result, I'm now holding my longest job. I'll be at my preschool job seven years this coming up Friday!
25 years in August. When I started, our department had over 100 employees. Now there are only 6 of us.
19 years this June. Working for myself.
11 years before that, my first job in the business. So, I have clients who I've been doing their hair for the last 30 years!
28 years as of this May. Ouch. I'm the oldest guy working there. I'm even three years older than the owner.
15 years at my last job. Was trying to make it to retirement at that one, but just couldn't do it. Same situation as a previous poster: so many layoffs/offshoring of jobs since I first started at it.
for anyone to stare there own business and it last 19 years, means your good and you know how to run a business , If I am in Tenn, gonna get me a haircut
That's funny! But been there done that!
First job, 12 years. Second 16 years. Current job 7 years. 11 years left until retirement.
DW, current job, 34 years. 11 years left until retirement.
Thanks! It was scary at first but it was a great move/risk. I love everything but the paperwork! I'd be honored.
