Can anyone tell me who the live band is on the wonder? Our last 3 cruises have all been on the magic, and one of our favorite things in the evening for my husband and I is to go to Rockin Bar D and listen to Soul Drive. We are thinking of booking a last minute cruise for just the 2 of us on the Wonder, but my husband was asking about the live entertainment on the Wonder. Any thoughts or input? Thanks for any help!

only the piano person in Cadillac (Alex Hopkins 1/31 cruise)
and usually a dual in Promenade Lounge (1/31 cruise had a piano player Charlie Ruenter)

That's funny, to DH and myself, Soul Drive was one of the worst things about the Magic. We hated sitting through the last part of their set before it was time for the games and cabaret. I'll never be able to listen to Love Shack again.

Wow, I love Soul Drive! They are one of my favorite parts of the cruise (I would say top 3). In fact I am planning my next cruise based on their schedule. I can't wait to see them again.

You might check one of the other cruise lines. Both RCCL and Carnival have live bands aboard their ships. I remember the last cruise on the Sensation they had a band that did mostly soul music. I don't know if you are looking for that type of music or that was just the name of the band.

The last cruise I went on DCCL Freedom of the Seas they had at least three of four different bands playing poolside rock, classical melodies, guitar melodies, dining music, Latin dance music, nightclub dancing, piano bar, pub entertainment and even a DJ. You might be able to find what you like in that group.

The Carnival Dream, also out of Port Canaveral, has Latin, jazz, everything from A to Z with Papa T,80's Dance music, variety music amd karaoke.
