Are there any encounter with anything remotely lion king oriented at DL or DCA. My daughter is really into a Lion King phase right now and would like to get any information.

I don't know about now, but in May I saw both Timon and Rafiki doing character greets.

Why not get tickets to see The Lion King at the beautiful Pantages Theatre in Hollywood? You will love it!

Unfortunately there are no shows at DL Lion King related. I don't think Animazement has any Lion King skits in it either.

Rafiki and Timon are in the parks to meet. If you wanted to do something really cool, depending on the age of your daughter, is get her into the Parade of Stars and walk through the parade with Timon. That is one of my personal fantasies.

I don't know what or if there are any Lion King sites at DCA. The animation tour may feature something but I have not had the opportunity to see that yet. Feb 3rd will be my first opportunity to see the new resort.

I think Larry's idea about seeing the Lion King at the pantages theater is excellent!!! You can look for tickest at ebay or try the www.lionkingla.com site to look for ticket availabilty. The tickets range from 45 - 85 dollars.

Hope that helps. Of course, you can visit the Lion King Museum located at my house!!! :D :D

Just back and we saw Rafiki at Goofy's Kitchen. This is a must-do!!!! Very fun. :)

We saw Rafiki and Timon in the Parade of the Stars parade...but other than that, not too many other LionKing sightings. :(

The museum is openned year round. Just call 24 hours in advance so I can shovel my house out. :D

Glad you saw some Lion King stuff Luvdsny. I would love to see more Lion King stuff at Disneyland. The Simba float in the Parade of Stars was kind of disappointing to me. I would have preferred Simba on Pride Rock, but I guess they felt they needed a new float for the parade rather than recycling the old float from the "Celebration of the Lion King" parade.

Wouldn't that be nice if they could have the Celebration of the Lion King again? What a spectacular parade that was!

I still remember my dd at a tender age... couldn't contain herself & had to dance in the street to 'Just Can't Wait to Be King'
