Hi Does anyone have any ideas what to do with left over points. I have 8 points that expire 8/31/10. Its a little hard to try and sell such a small amount and they can not be transfered.

Your options are pretty limited. You could offer them as a rental, but you might need to add a few points from the next Use Year (borrow) to even be able to make a reservation for one night.

You could also add points and put them into the World Passport Collection for stay thru RCI, but there are not many choices for that few points which can't be transferred.

    Good luck! :)

I've only had this happen once where I had 3 points that were going to expire if not used. I did add to them to make out a reservation, but I also gave one away to someone here who was one point short for their stay at the same resort.

If you have a stay coming up, you could always extend by a day and "buy" the additional points needed from Disney @ $15 a point to fill the difference. You can now buy up to 24 points per use year.

    Really,

In an ideal world the points would just roll over. If points remaining = < 10% of total yearly alotment, those points can roll over. With the % sliding based on trends and usage.

I'm sure many of us on the board have no idea what "left over points" are.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

By left over points I mean I sold all my points but have 8 still left. Its too small of an amount to make a reservation for. I cant even give them to anyone because I can't transfter.

I have 3 stupid points left too. I had borrowed them into this use year then cancelled that reservation. I reused most, rented a bunch and have 3 left that will just disappear! Oh well...!
