    Hi,

Well, it is almost here. I scanned the Swan/Dolphin threads and maybe I missed it but if you make a long distance call from your room using a calling card does the S/D charge you .75 a call like the Disney owned resorts do?

I cannot believe the trip is almost here!!!! I am so exicted I want to leave now:p :bounce: :Pinkbounc

If you pay the $8.00 per day resort fee, you won't be charged for making an 800# call. (I think those cost $1.00.)

    Have a GREAT trip, Tiffany!

Thanks NancyIL. We do plan on paying the $8 resort fee so my husband can go to the gym every morning. He is up at 6am(long before I get up:p ) and off to the gym he goes. I do enjoy reading the paper every morning. Even when I am on vacation. I know I am strange;) . We also call home to my parents and his parents once a day to get this check on them:D How rolls change over the years:D Well, I have gone on too long. I am just so excited. Thanks again.

We just came back from the Dolphin - June/July 2002.

My DH called his office every day with the AT&T prepaid calling card.
Worked like a charm. No fees if you pay the $8 per day hotel fee.
He called an area code (not 800) phone number.
It did not show up on our bill.
You get 60 minutes of phone calls each day for the $8.
Enough time for my DH to call a client back.
(yes - we went to the pool one morning while he worked on a contract)

He was also able to use the fax machines in the business area
of the Dolphin with the AT&T calling card - and did not show up
    on our bill.

The $8 gives you coffee and tea packets each day - plus the
newspaper. My DH read the newspaper every night after our kids
went to sleep around 10 pm.

I placed the coffee and tea in our suitcase and it was replenished every day.
My DH loves the coffee here at home now and I like the
    English Breakfast tea bags.
At the Dolphin, my DH bought his coffee at the coffee bar off the main
lobby. Yes, we have the refillable mugs - but he did not like Tubbies coffee.

One other big hint - BRING you DC card. You get 20% all food / drinks at the
Dolphin & Swan except for Shula's.

    Enjoy !
