We are very excited to go on our 1st Disney Cruise and joining our first fish extender group. I hope that I'm in the right place.

I think so! I have not found any other threads for the 4 night Disney Dream departing on 29 Feb 16.

From what I have gathered... we need to see how many people join the group, we then take stateroom numbers and depending on the number of staterooms participants will depend on how many gifts we give. If we get 50 participants with spilt that number up so each person isn't making/giving 50 gifts. So each person gives 25 gifts or 10 gifts something like that. I have been researching this since our last Disney Cruise. We went in September and saw all the fish extenders and had to ask what it was about. We had been cruising Disney since 2003 and this was the first we had seen fish extenders.
I have looked on FaceBook and here and this is the only thread or information I have found for the Dream leaving Feb 29. I hope all this makes sense!

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread and just share a pdf document through a private conversation confidentially with just those who want to join in! Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine managing meet and Fish Extender discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is completely up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM (conversation).

Hi everyone! My family is counting down the days for this Disney cruise! It will be our first. I am hand making my fish extender this week and hope to put it to good use…we want to participate!I have 2 young boys, ages 3 and 5 and my youngest will be celebrating his 4th Birthday on the 1st day of the cruise. (well…he is a Leap Year baby). Please let me know the next step of how we can be in a FE group. Can't wait to meet you all!
