Lavender Blue in Cinderella 2015 Soundtrack

does anyone know why Lavender Blue is not included in the OST for Cinderella?

I haven't seen the movie. Is it sung by someone new or is it the old Burl Ives version?

It's sung by quite a few people in the movie including Cinderella and her mum. I think it also shows up in lots of songs (the tune anyway). It's just that the soundtrack doesn't have the song with words

Sometimes they don't release certain songs on a soundtrack...usually it's for a copyright issue. Sometimes, especially when you get something big like Disney, it is also a way to get you to buy a different CD where they can stick it on a compilation that might not otherwise sell very well.

I found it odd that they had a song that was original from other movie.
